You may remember that I recently reviewed two beautiful Milani Baked Blushes and I am excited to say that I am back with two more! The ones I have for you today are Rose D’Oro and Bella Rosa. Rose D’Oro is in their regular collection but Bella Rosa is limited so definitely get out and get it while you can!
These are luxurious powder blushes that feature a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. They are silky smooth and pack a lot of punch!
I think that the texture is very comparable to the MAC Mineralize blushes and MSFs for less than half the price. They retail for under $8!
Rose D’Oro is described as a Pink and Gold shimmer blush. I find that it really doesn’t look very pink to me at all, it appears mostly very peachy. Highly pigmented and easy to blend, this blush is going to be one of my go-to blushers for summer. I love wearing a peachy pink shade when I am going heavy on the eye because it blends into my natural skin tone a bit better than other shades.
Bella Rosa is a bright, matte, raspberry pink. It is smooth in texture—almost creamy actually. It is SUPER pigmented so I suggest using it with a light hand. This kind of shade is one I prefer when I am going for a dramatic winged-out liner with nude lips.
Overall, Rose D’Oro and Bella Rosa are gorgeous shades. The texture of these blushers blow me away and the pigmentation is out of this world. As far as drugstore blush goes Milani Baked Blush takes the cake. I have found nothing more pigmented than these at the drugstore in all my time blogging beauty. Under $8 and fabulous!
