This summer my goal is to vamp up my hair. I want to make it do something other than just lay flat and boring against my head. I have been trying all sorts of hair products in my quest to find THE PERFECT products. For today’s Friday Five I am going to share my thoughts on the new products from Kerastase for Summer 2014.
{one} Spray-A-Porter Tousled Effect Spray – A texture spray that creates the ultimate beach waves without the stickiness, and can also be used to style second day hair with sophisticated urban waves using a curling iron. This spray offers multi-deminsional, build able texture that stays soft and touchable.
{two} Lift Vertige Root-Uplifting Gel – A unique gel-texture that elevates the roots without a “cardboard” feel for volume right at the crown. It offers instant volume and lift at the roots that lasts and lasts while also adding shine.
{three} Forme Fatale Voluptuous Blow-Dry Gel – A blow dry gel with an extra-fine texture that perfectly shapes hair to give all-over volume that lasts. Use to create a classy, modern bouffant. This adds all-over volume and body. The shape and structure provided is nice but its also flexible.
{four} Mousse Bouffante Luxurious Volumizing Mousse – A subtle formula that envelops the fiber to thicken strands for a dose of glamorous volume all-over. This gives buildable volume and body; it gives fullness and structure without weighing your hair down.
{five} Laque Dentelle is a micro mist fixing hairspray with flexible hold. It has a micro-fine diffusion that sets all hairstyles in place with a vibrant radiance. Works perfectly with heat tools. It provides build able hold that is flexible and lasts a long time. It also helps control frizz.
Kerastase Summer 2014 is a fabulous group of products. Ones that I am excited to see released during the summer, actually. Which ones do I like, which ones do I not? I think they are all really nice and do what they are supposed to do. There are some that are outstanding and I love. Lift Vertige is exceptionally nice. My biggest struggle is to inject volume into my hair. This staff really pumps it in there. The Laque Dentelle is what I consider hairspray for those that don’t like hairsprays. It does the job without feeling crispy.
Have you tried any of the new products from Kerastase? What is your goal for summer hair care?
