It isn’t very often that I talk about nail polish here but when I do, you can bet that it is something super awesome. Ciate London recently released some fun summer products so I thought I would put together a post of my favorites.
I am going to start off with the one that I have reviewed here before and that is the Cuticle Tattoos. I think they are super fun and add something interesting to my nail looks. Go on over to my Cuticle Tattoos review for more detailed information on that.
Another cool release that is brand new is their series of Chocolate Nail Polish Remover. The two I have here are the Dark Chocolate Nail Polish Remover and the White Chocolate Nail Polish remover! There are some other ones two but who doesn’t love dark and white chocolate? The interesting thing about these polishes is that they are nourishing and gentle with vitamins E and B5. I actually had a Mint Chocolate one too, but it broke in transit! *DOH*
The Flower Manicure set is so very pretty! It comes with a blue mini polish, a clear top coat, tweezers, nail file, and 2 pots of different assortments of dried flowers.
One of the pots has these adorable red flowers and beautiful purple bunches. They are so thin and delicate that you will DEFINITELY need the tweezers to help you get them out.
The other pot has blue flowers and pink and purple bunches. I think this one has my favorite color compilation.
There is another collection of glitter top coats that was just released called Mosaic. There are 5 polishes total but the 3 I have to show you are Mural Moment (blue shades are contrasted with a hint of baby pink), Night On The Tiles (Bursts of navy and green with a dash of silver), and Mosaic Madness (Orange, Lime, Sliver and Navy). These glitters are in cute square shape, hence the play on titles.
Last but CERTAINLY not least are the new, exciting Shell Manicures. For me they are exciting because I feel like they are an answer to the big fuss that the government is making on the microbeads being in cleansers and of course the Caviar manicure that Ciate made popular. Those beads were getting into the water stream and causing harm to the wildlife. Nothing is more natural in water than shells. So instead of painting your nails and pouring microbeads over top you will be pouring gorgeous, gleaming shells. There is nothing I like more than the opalescent glimmer of mother of pearl and that comes naturally in shells. “Beachside bliss gets a runway twist-capture the natural pearlescent texture of crushed shells to create a mermaid-worthy manicure. From the brand that brought you the iconic Caviar Manicure, Ciaté London brings you the latest nail texture. Inspired by underwater influences spotted on the catwalk-dive into an opulence with the Shell Manicure.” – Ciate
The first one I have to show you is Wish Upon A Starfish. The Paint Pot in this set is called Halo and the shells are a white. This one would remind me of a summer in the Hamptons on my nails! haha
Mermaid You Look has a pretty purple polish called Pillow Fight and gorgeous, taupe-y purple shells. This could possibly be my favorite of the three.
The third and final set is called She Sells Seashells and I think this one will appeal to the masses because of the color palette. The polish is called Candy Floss and the shells are multicolored.
Aren’t they gorgeous? I really love everything from the Ciate Spring and Summer 2014 collections that I have tried so far and I am certain that everyone else will too!
