I am in love with men’s fragrances lately. I love the spicy, sexy depth that only men’s fragrances deliver. I have to admit that I wear my husbands cologne some days just because, HELLO, they are awesome. And with Father’s Day coming up in the next couple weeks I wanted to share with you those that I deem THE BEST! Some of these I bought, some were given for me to review but none-the-less I love them equally.
Tom Ford Noir is my pick for that seriously sexy man in your life. Just think “tall dark stranger” but in the best way possible. It is so masculine that I can’t help but fawn all over my husband when he is wearing it. It is so complex that it sends me on an emotional roller coaster. Each time I sniff it I catch a little bit of something different. Top Notes: Bergamot, Verbena, Caraway, Pink pepper, Violet. Middle Notes: Black pepper, Nutmeg, Tuscan iris, Geranium, Bulgarian rose, Clary sage. Base Notes: Opoponax, Amber, Indonesian patchouli leaf, Vetiver, Civet, Vanilla.
Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb is another one of those manly yet surprisingly metro scents. It is crisp and fresh due to the grapefruit note and deeply intriguing because of the notes of leather, tobacco. I love the bottle too, it is shaped like a grenade with a fun pin sporting the logo. My husband is in the military so he really enjoyed the packaging itself. I think most men would. Top Notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit. Middle Notes Elemi, Pink pepper. Base Notes: Leather, Tobacco, Vetiver.
L’Occitane Cade is perfect for the outdoorsman! It really reminds me of my dad when he would get all dressed up for dates with my mom. It is that spicy, woody fragrance that is so comforting. Top notes: Bergamot Middle Notes: Cedar wood, Pink pepper. Base notes: Cade wood Citrus.
Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme has been a signature scent of my husband’s for a couple years now. This is PROBABLY the 4th bottle I have purchased him. I have purchased it for birthdays, anniversaries and I think I got one last Father’s Day! This is a fragrance that I think would suit any man and probably your best bet when it comes to getting dad/husband/brother/friend a nice fragrance they are sure to love. The notes are: Citrus peel, Ginger, Basil blossoms, Violet leaves, Vetiver, Tonka bean.
When you don’t know what to get a man for a special occasion, like Father’s Day, a nice fragrance is always the way to go. These are the best men’s fragrances in my opinion. I have been obsessed with them for months now and I seem to be starting a rather large collection, which my husband is loving. L’Occitane is a great brand and is on the more affordable side, so perfect for a fragrance for deal ole dad and FragranceNET.com always has a fabulous assortment and they are always cheaper than other retailers. Tell me in the comments below: What is your favorite men’s fragrance? Do you wear men’s fragrances yourself like I do on occasion?
