Today I want to show you a cute idea drink idea for kids. Adults typically get the cute summertime refreshers but why leave the kids out? Nothing is more simple than making ice cubes out of kool-aid and dropping it into your drink, but what if they could be in fun shapes?
HABA makes some of the cutest silicone tray molds that are perfect for creating fun ice or other treats. The one I have here is for summer time!
I just mixed up some kool-aid the way I normally would and then filled the tray, left them in the freezer for a couple hours and while my son was in the pool I brought him a glass of Sprite with these cute little frozen shapes in them. He loved the idea.
This ice cube tray costs less than $10 and there are so many uses. You can chill pudding in them, freeze yogurt… the options are really pretty endless. I think that its a fun kid idea and I will be home with mine all summer so I will need a lot of tricks up my sleeve for those days they are trapped indoors! <3 Have you ever done anything like this? Tell me in the comments below!
