One of my favorite things in life is a new color collection from Laura Mercier. They just released some new summer items in the New Attitude collection. They dare you to be different and I feel like this quad is very different from what I normally wear! I have the Summer in St Tropez Baked Eye Colour Quad to share with you. Just look at those shades! Eye catching from the get. They really do scream summer vacation on a tropical island, right?
The shades in this eyeshadow quad are a Navy, Teal, Seafoam Green, and a Bronze. They are baked so you can use them dry and wet. I personally think that they are slightly lackluster without a base or wet but I DO love them when applied wet! The swatches on my fingertips didn’t do them justice but LOOK at them applied on my eyes! WOW! Just don’t look at my hair. It was up in a bun and falling. :/
Placement on the eyes: Bronze applied wet onto my lid with a flat brush and applied in the crease dry with a fluffy blending brush. Seafoam Green is on the inner corner of the eyes. Teal applied on the waterline over a similar liner. Navy deepening the outer v of the eye.
So you probably guessed it. I am loving the Summer in St Tropez quad ($44). I am NOT a blue eyeshadow wearer but when applied like this I can totally get into it. I have always heard that blues compliment brown eyes, unfortunately it is really bringing out the tired-red too! haha These shade of blues are going to be very popular this spring and summer so I would definitely snag it while you can, since it is Limited Edition!
