Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster is an intensely moisturizing liquid that sinks right into thirsty skin and smooths and minimizes fine lines as it does it! It is a water-based, non-greasy formula that contains Hyaluronic Acid (which I love). Hyaluronic Acid actually holds 1000 times its weight in water and is an impressively powerful hydrator. Other ingredients included in this benefit-packed liquid is Panthenol, Clycolipids, and Algae Extract to help skin repair and restore moisture balance. Sounds great right?
So, now that we have the ingredients covered you probably want to know what to do with the Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster, right? The directions say to squeeze 6-10 drops onto fingertips and mix it into your moisturizer. The alternative directions say apply it right onto your parched skin areas. This for me is around my eyes, my 11 lines, my smile lines… allllll the lines! :) I also take whatever is left over and run that down my neck. I use this as a sort of primer or serum for my regular moisturizer to go on top. At night I do mix it right into my night cream for all-over moisturization. So, spot treatment for day and all-over-revitalizer at night.

The results are astounding. I love applying this around my eyes because those teeny-tiny fine lines blur out and really make me comfortable with reflection in the mirror. I demonstrated on the back of my hand to recreate the effect rather than spare you my bare face twice in one week! (You are welcome!) You can see that the before picture looks dry, tired, and older by at least 10 years versus the “after” picture. I didn’t tweak these pictures at all! It seriously looks like two different hands right? I assure you, these pictures were taken 30 minutes apart of my left hand.
The Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster hydrates skin to smooth and minimize fine lines. It is also very versatile in the sense that it can be a spot treatment or all-over treatment. The non-greasy formula makes it great for all skin types, so don’t be afraid to add a little moisture! I am raving like a mad woman because I really believe in this product. It is truly amazing!
