My fine lines have been freaking me out lately. I have always had some but I am noticing more and more as time goes on. I am 31 and I know that it is normal to show signs of aging but I have a commitment to myself to combat these signs early on and try to look as young as possible for as long as possible. I haven’t yet turned to any surgery or botox or anything. Quite honestly, as every-day as those procedures are now I just don’t want to. It scares me a little.
In my efforts to seek out the best alternatives to invasive treatment of wrinkles I was excited that I was contacted by the people behind BIOBLISS Micro-Current Anti-Wrinkle Patches. I was able to try the Eye Treatments and the Forehead Treatments. They use a gentle, sensation-free micro-current technology to deeply infuse the skin with powerful wrinkle-fighting ingredients, much like a nicotine or estrogen patch does. This method delivers significantly more anti-aging ingredients deeming into the skin than topical creams and serums.
The ingredients and benefits:
Hyaluronic acid: For optimal skin moisture retention.
Okra Plant Extract: Tonix-free muscle relaxer for facial line reduction.
Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-3): Gently releaxes wrinkles and fine lines.
Madagascan Herbal Extract: Gently relaxes wrinkles, expression and fine lines.
Vitamin B3: Maintains moisture balance and brightens skin.
Vitamin C: Powerful anti-oxidant and collagen builder improves skin elasticity.
The packaging says to use this for at least 30 minutes and UP TO 12 hours. I first applied these patches (both sets) with the intention of wearing them for an hour or so but quickly became intrigued with idea of wearing them overnight. After I put them on I noticed that they clung to my skin very well and were super comfortable, I doubted how comfortable they would be at first which is why I initially didn’t expect to wear them long.
I saw a great deal of immediate benefits. I say that the tiny fine lines I have been dreading had diminished and that my skin looked shiny and smooth. These results were true for days. After about 5-6 days I started feeling like yucky ole me again. The instructions on the pack says that this treatment can be done once a week, and that makes sense. A week is about how long the results will last.
I recommend trying these patches at least once. The Eye Treatments and the Forhead Treatment are two separate things, one package contains one treatment either the Eye or Forehead. There are different pricing/availability for them. You can buy a single treatment for $16 at BeautyCollection.com. 4 weeks worth of patches for $80 at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Skinstore, Beauty.com, BeautyBar.com, Pielboutique, and BIOBLISS.com. 8 weeks worth of patches for $128 at Bergdorf Goodman, Skinstore.com and BIOBLISS.com.
Do I recommend these? Yes. I did get results. It is sort of pricy for the results to only last a week so if you are about to at tend a function or party or have a special occasion coming up, DEFINITELY slap these babies on and see your transformation!
