Beauty Box Five is one of my favorite boxes to get in the mail. It always includes a good variety of products, so there is something for everyone. This month, March 2014, has a theme of Spring Cleaning. It says they “are making moves and making room by throwing out the makeup we never use, putting a stop to bad habits, and focusing on our top beauty goal: clean, gorgeous skin.” From the look of the products included, they aren’t kidding.
March’s box includes the following…
Jane’s Pick All Natural Soaps ($8 for 5 oz)
This soap is made without chemicals, instead they use all-natural blends infused with herbs and flowers. These soaps are handmade and each bar has a pattern with unique and realizing scents. The sample of this soap isn’t marked with how much it is, but it is definitely nooooowhere near an oz, so I am going to not include a value of this whatsoever.
Tree Hut Shea Body Butter (7.49 for 7 oz)
This body butter is extra thick and paraben free. It is a lotion that deep conditions your skin with cocoa and organic shea butter. It provides natural anti-aging properties and puts you in th mood to party with lime and coconut. You put the lime in the coconut, and drink it all up! :D The size of this product is actually a size I prefer because I love to keep a body butter stashed in a drawer in my coffee table, so the smaller it is the less cluttered it feels. While I am watching a show I enjoy I tend to run these into my legs. :) This sample size has a value of $1.07
Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base ($18.99 for .25 oz)
This product is an all-in-one imperfection corrector. It is an ivory base that is great when you are low on time because it serves as a concealer, illuminator, and eyeshadow primer. Full-sized.
H2O Plus Hand & Nail Cream ($15 for 6 oz)
This hand cream is proven to soften the roughest hands. It is an award-winning product and it is lightweight, non-greasy, and restores your skin with silk proteins, vitamin E, and marine botanicals. A definite must-have for any time of the year. This is another sample size, which I find perfect for stashing in my handbag. This sample is worth $3
Swissco Dual-sided Facial Pad ($2)
Achieving softer skin and smaller pores is as easy as exfoliating a few times a week. Just add your favorite cleanser on the pad, gently buff that pretty face, and kiss lackluster skin goodbye! :) I love little tools like these. It seems much less harsh than using other rough, physical exfoliators.
The value of this box is just over $25. Another great box from Beauty Box 5! If you haven’t tried it, you totally should!
