February is often known as the month of love (and unfortunately snow), but did you know that it is also known here in the U.S. as National Grapefruit Month? Grapefruit isn’t one of my favorite fruits to munch on but I love it in my beauty products… also my cocktails!
Neutrogena has a few great options for grapefruit products and I am so happy that they address acne problems! I actually am getting really irritated with my skin lately. I have been breaking out a bit here and there so the Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes and Oil-Free Acne Wash in the pink grapefruit flavor.
I have always been a fan of the Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes, but this is my first time trying the Pink Grapefruit Acne-Prone Skin version. I typically buy the purple package. These smell so fresh, like they are soaked with pink grapefruit juice. It is great for taking off my makeup but it is JUST AS GREAT as an amazing pick-me-up. One thing I have been doing is cleaning my face in the morning with these because they are like a breath of fresh air!
The Oil-Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub is also really nice. It has been my favorite in-the-shower cleanser. I put a little dab in my hands and lather it onto my face and while I am rubbing it around the little clear bits are exfoliating my face and doing it gently!
Another wonderfully scented product is the Merle Norman Pink Grapefruit Body Butter. It is amazingly hydrating and smells divine! This winter has been extremely hard on my dry, dehydrated legs. I am always looking for something extremely moisturizing to soak into them, but especially during the colder months. What better way to get your grapefruit fix than with a wonderful body butter!
