Now that the New Year is here, we are all making resolutions to get fit or drink more water… One of my resolutions is to get organized. I have two kids under the age of 10 and all of you mothers out there KNOW that means lots of birthday parties to attend year round! With our crazy lives, we are always left stopping by the store on the way to the party to buy the card at the last minute. One one of my many trips to Walmart last week, I stocked up on a bunch of Connections from Hallmark Value Cards to have on hand for the entire year so I will never have to face that scenario again!
My favorite cards to buy are Hallmark cards. There is a standard of quality in a Hallmark card: great pictures, beautifully written words to warm the heart or spark a laugh… I mean, who doesn’t love seeing that crown on the envelope? Walmart has a huge selection of Connections from Hallmark cards that are on 47 cents and 97 cents, which covers another one of my resolutions: saving money! And just because these are more affordable cards doesn’t mean less quality! The cards I picked up are gorgeous! I would have never thought these cost less except the signs around them told me so!
While I was at Walmart that day, an older lady that looked pretty frazzled came up behind me and was sort-of pacing the aisle. She saw me looking at all the cute cards I had in my hand and she asked who was getting the cards I was buying. I told her my plan and she was impressed! *Feeling smug while carrying out my resolution!* I then mentioned that the cards I was looking at were so inexpensive and she shifted to where I was looking. She read through a handful of cards and left with a few herself!
Not only are the Connections from Hallmark Value Cards from Walmart a great deal, you can also earn rewards when you sign up for the Hallmark Rewards Program! For every 5 cards you buy you get a free reward. It is easy to log your cards, too! If you buy the cards directly from a Hallmark store you use a special code on the back, and if you buy them from a store like Walmart, like I did, you enter in the UPC code from the back of the card. And if you are buying the card on the way to the birthday party, like I mentioned before, you can either scan the back of the card with the Hallmark Rewards app on your phone OR save your Walmart receipt. The UPC codes are on there too!
The rewards are great and there is a variety so there is one sure to appeal to everyone! I am eyeing that nifty little Starbucks Card! You really should check out the page for yourself!
