I recently did a little Thanksgiving traveling and will soon be doing Christmas traveling; it is quite possible I will be traveling again for New Year’s Day. With the holidays upon us we need to be as prepared as possible for being away from home. I have a few must-haves that will save you space, time, and frustration and really allow you to enjoy the good things about traveling like friends and family. This is my Holiday Travel Essentials.
Traveling -whether it be in a car, bus, train, or plane- can leave your hair limp and lifeless so the got2B Instant Life Powder can give you instant volume and reawaken your roots. Also, when you are traveling you may not have all of the accommodations that you are used to at home (like a blow dryer, curling iron, and so on) so having a product like this can be very beneficial in your arsenal. The bottle is also very small and a little goes a long way so it truly is essential. The size of the bottle is so small you can slip it into your bag for a touch up on the go ANYTIME. You can find it at Walgreens for under $6.
One thing I always need while traveling is a nice fragrance. I don’t like to bring my expensive bottles of perfume but I absolutely need to freshen up. These inexpensive fragrances from Bodycology are perfect. They don’t take up a lot of room and they smell fantastic. The one shown above is in Toasted Vanilla Sugar and it really reminds me of a similarly named fragrance from Bath and Body Works. These fragrances are available at Target or Walmart for just $2.
You will also need a good moisturizer to get back your radiant skin from a long plane or car trip. The Aubrey EveryDay Basics Moisturizer has you covered! The combination of organic argan oil, organic aloe vera, horsetail and coltsfoot will hydrate and soothe skin, resulting in improved skin texture and elasticity! Who wouldn’t want that? It retails for $9.95.
The bag I have showcased in the pictures above and below is the Modella Weekender. For all of your other beauty go-to’s that keep you looking marvelous under the mistletoe, stow away in this beautiful, multi-compartment bag. Complete with TSA-friendly travel bottles and separate compartments, your beauty and accessory essentials stay organized and easy to find. You can see all of the amazing goodies I packed in mine. It holds a ton of products so you don’t have to pick and choose which palette to bring along with you, take both! :) The Modella Weekender is sold at WalMart stores for 12.97 and comes in a few different patterns and styles.
All of the products mentioned in this post are TSA friendly so they are perfect for long plane trips. They are also so compact in size that they will be good for any travel situation, including your daily commute.
What are some of your travel must-haves?
