Glossybox is one of my favorite subscription services, it costs $21 for a monthly subscription and you save more when sign up and pay ahead for 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.
When I see a Glossybox at my door my heart does a little leap for joy. I know that when I open the box there will be things that I enjoy inside. Also the box looks like a beautiful gift and everything is perfect, right down to the last detail. The details are what make this service so special.
This Glossybox is full of great items and most are natural and/or organic. Skincare and nail polish lovers beware!
This description card in this box looks just like a Christmas card and the sticker holding the tissue paper closed matches! Really nice touch.
Moving on to the products themselves…
Anatomicals You Need A Blooming Shower
This shower gel is extremely aromatic, it smells exactly like a big bouquet of roses! It is a combination of aloe vera and witch hazel and scented with rose and jasmine. Extremely girly fragrance and paraben-free. The packaging is really eye-catching due to it’s vibrant colors and simplicity. The full size retails for $5.50 and this is exactly half of the full size, so it’s value is $2.25.
Michael Todd True Organics – Pumpkin Mask
I love anything pumpkin, especially skincare. This mask not only contains pumpkin enzyme but also has glycolic acid, which dissolves impurities like dead skin and clogged pores. This helps improve fine lines and wrinkles. I love products that have all natural ingredients and this one is even certified vegan. Full size retails for $34 so this is valued at $10.
Naobay Oxygenating Cream Moisturizing
The name is a bit strange because I would expect it to be named moisturizer not moisturizing but oh well. It claims to keep the surface of your skin balanced, fresh and hydrated. I tried it this morning and I really like the scent. Even though it is a cream it is light and sinks in quickly. It contains rosehip oil and sweet almond oil; this cream is natural and organic. The full size retails for $44 so this is valued at $26 and some change.
Casswell-Massey Dr Hunters Hand Creme
When I first read the description of this hand creme I was enchanted. “An original formula of natural rosewater, glycerin, sweet almond oil, and shea butter that is easily absorbed to soften and condition hands.” When I read ingredients I can actually pronounce it makes me feel good about the product itself and makes me WANT to use it. If I am calculating this correctly it is valued at $5.55.
Nails Inc Victoria Polish
I love getting full sized polishes in subscription boxes. The one included in this box is a gorgeous deep cherry red. It screams vampy and sexy. Plain reds get so boring so something a little different is exactly what I needed to cleanse my palette! It is valued at $9.50.
Excuse my nails in the picture above. I haven’t cleaned them up yet! :/ The below swatches are as follows: Dr Hunters Hand Creme, Noabay Oxygenating Cream Moisturizing, Michael Todd True Organics Pumpkin Mask, and the Anatomicals You Need A Blooming Shower.
This Glossybox retails for $21 and contained over $53 worth of products. I am loving this box because I will get use out of everything included and I can have a clear conscious because most everything in it is natural and/or organic. If you haven’t tried this yet you need to immediately. I have personally never been disappointed. If you sign up for a subscription before the end of the month using the code GBPEN you will also receive an Ardency Inn Cream Eyeshadow Pen!
