A smoky eye doesn’t always have to be a dark, heavy eye look. You can absolutely do a lighter, more shimmery eye for an everyday smoky eye. In fact, this is a look that I do gravitate towards on a daily basis. I like shimmer and reflection on my lids and doing more matte colors throughout the crease and browbone. I have monolids so I don’t really have a natural crease to emphasis so I have to fake it. I always do a slightly darker color where the crease should be and then blend it out with a lighter shade, creating the effect of a natural crease. I hope you enjoy this look.
I used a lot of brownish-purple taupes. Taupes are the loves of my life.
I hope you love the look I created. Very doable for anyone.
