Scents can stir your memories, and stir them more strongly than any other of your senses. Perfumes are scented so specifically that it can draw you back to a particular spot in your history, whether it be your first date, kiss, or even a marriage proposal. Memoire Liquid has several different scents that create a story and I for one am looking forward to creating beautiful memories with the brand. I was sent two scents from the brand to review and I wanted to share my thoughts on both.
“Mémoire Liquide Reserve Edition is a collection of five ready-to-wear eau de Parfums that expands beyond the original customized model of Mémoire Liquide Bespoke Perfume counters. With a focus still on the interplay between memory and scent, individual scents were developed to trigger past memories as well as inspire new ones. (Available in Vacances, Soleil, Amour, Fleur and Encens juices).” – Memoire Liquide
Vacances Liquide is the memory of a vacation on an idyllic tropical beach with warm, white sand and azure waves lapping the shore line. The notes are: Tiare Flower, Fresh Coconut Milk and Tahitian Vanilla with Oceanic accords. This scent in theory should be my favorite but for some reason I am just not attracted to it in the least. It is a bit heavy for me but I am certain that this will be perfect for someone.
I received a lotion in the same scent. The lotion feels great on the skin, but again I am not fond of the fragrance.
Amour Liquide is the memory of exhilarating romantic love, at once soul soothing and and breath taking. Key Notes: Pure Madagascar Vanilla, Tonka Bean and Incense. I absolutely ADORE this fragrance. It is warm, inviting, and comforting.
Each fragrances retails at $95 for 1.7 fl oz. There are several different retailers that carry them and they can be found at MemoireLiqudePerfume.com. Investigate for yourselves the beautiful fragrances and figure out which story best suits you!
