I recently found the brand Eight Skincare and was reading lots of reviews about the different products, and was very intrigued. I was then contacted by the brand and they sent me a couple things to review. In the colder months my skin really dries out. My legs look ashen and my arms get a little sore and feel super dry. Even though it isn’t cold here yet, these products have improved the moisture in my arms and legs in a big way.
The Natural Sisal Dry Skin Body Brush is a brush that you use on dry skin. Soften your skin, reduce cellulite, and help your body detox all by dry brushing your skin daily. I would recommend doing this in the shower nude any exfoliation that does take place can wash directly down the drain when you wash directly afterwards!
“Dry Skin Brushing is one of the best ways to cleanse the skin without removing the protective mantle of acids and oils. It gently and effectively removes the top layer of dead skin cells and deeply cleanses the pores.
Used throughout history in many diverse cultures, Dry Skin Brushing has been practiced as a preventative for dry skin and a way to exfoliate the body, thus stimulating skin renewal and making it soft and supple to the touch.” – Eight Skincare
After getting out of the shower, you should follow up with the Eight Skincare Body Moisture. I have the scent in Lavender. I know not everyone enjoys the smell of Lavender but they also have two other scents available: Ginger Lime and Tangerine. I love, love, love this lotion. It really sinks into the skin without leaving a greasy feel. Also, it is paraben free! Yippee!
Eight Body Moisture is a luxurious blend of natural and essential ingredients formulated to hydrate and nourish dry skin. The soothing essence of French lavender will not compete with your fragrance, as the scent of the essential oil will dissipate. As a moisturizer, Eight is effective for dry skin, or an after-sun moisturizer, massage lotion, shaving lotion or after-shave conditioner. – Eight Skincare
Basically, the reason for my interest in this brand was because I have been suffering from ingrown hairs on my thighs lately. I think it is because my pants are fitting me tighter than they did before I got pregnant and I am still trying to suffer my way into making them fit me again. I have been trying to exfoliate with scrubs and it just wasn’t cutting it. Dry brushing followed by showering, scrubs, and this moisturizer have almost completely rid me from these terrible bumps. I am excited. I know that this is sort of a gross subject, but I want you to know how these products benefitted me personally. I completely recommend these products. The brush on it’s own retails for $20 and the lotion at $24 but when you purchase them in a set (here) you can save $1.
