I don’t do many “favorites” posts anymore… Mostly because I feel like they can get redundant. My favorites rarely change month to month and typically if it does I more than likely just reviewed it. My most recent favorite things are different or new and less talked about than most products so I wanted to mention them.
I will start with a non-beauty product… This ADORABLE coin purse with “Addicted To Shopping” embossed on the front is adorable. I got it from ASOS for a little more than $7. (Link here) It is so cute, sturdy, and affordable. Love the leopard lining!
Some brushes that are standard in my get-ready routine are the Japonesque smudge brush and a dual ended Laura Mercier brush that has their Ponytail brush and a flat shader brush. These 3 brushes are all I need to complete any look I have in mind. They actually stay in my travel makeup bag. I tend to do my eye makeup at work a lot so minimal brushes are necessary.
Two products from L’Oreal have had me in awe. I haven’t used many drugstore mascaras in the last year but the L’Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions is truly great. I have been very upset that my lashes are seeming short and falling out post-pregnancy and this mascara has honestly given me hope. If you take a look at my previous post about the Lumene CC Cream you can see in the very last picture that my lashes look so crazy long… I was wearing this mascara. The other product is the liner from L’Oreal called Color Riche. I have it in black, purple, and blue… the pigmentation is amazing and it transfers so smoothly… I will be doing a review soon on these.
Two other things I am using a lot of lately are MAC Blot Powder (which has been moved into a beautiful Heatherette compact). It is a nice powder to have on hand for touch ups throughout the day. A perfume that never leaves my purse is Philosphy Falling in Love. I have owned this fragrance for years and recently am loving the roller ball version.
The last few products that I can’t get enough of lately are the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe. It is the perfect base for a nice smoky eye. Honestly, just this color on your lid is a great daytime look, very versatile!
Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm in Nearly Naked is a perfect no fuss lip product. It is one of those lip colors that looks amazing no matter what you pair with it. Truly a go-to product for myself.
The City Color Cosmetics Eye Shadow Primer has also been a favorite since the day I opened the tube. I love the texture, the opacity, and the longevity it provides is perfect. I also love that the price point is affordable for anyone with any budget.
Hope you have enjoyed reading a little bit about my current favorite products. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them in the comments below.
