I can’t even count how many times I have been out at night or even at work and myself or a friend was in major need of something small. People at work ask me daily for a bandaid or headache medicine. I found myself asking a friend for dental floss the other day. There have been a few occasions I could have benefitted from a needle and thread. I use an emory board everyday (I actually keep my desk stocked with them). Having an extra earring back in your purse couldn’t hurt. Thank goodness the people over at Pinch Provisions thought of everything with their Minimergency Kit.
First of all, this little case is no bigger than my hand and my hand is small. My 7 year old son has the same size hands as me. All 17 essentials fits perfectly in this pouch, so keeping it in your bag is very doable. It is 3.5″ x 2″ x 2″.
Once unloaded you can see that there is a ton of stuff in the pouch. All important for one reason or another.
There is a pouch that contains a deodorant swipe, because you all know you have forgotten once or twice to apply before you ran out the door. Also the clear wrapper contains needle, thread, safety pin, earring backs and clear elastics.
You have some Advil and nail polish remover pads.
A bandage, dental floss and an emory board.
One pouch contains 5 strips of double sided tape. There is also some clear nail polish, and we all know how useful that can be in a pinch.
There is a small bottle of hairspray, lipbalm and breath drops. These 3 items are must haves for a date or night out with friends.
last but not least there is a stain remover wipe (clumsy people like me will love that this is included) and a tampon. If I would have had this pouch not that long ago it could have saved me from having that embarrassing convo at work asking friends if they had something you can borrow.
These awesome Minimergency Kits retail for $13 at their website. You can also find them at several other locations around the mall and possibly some other boutiques. They are available in 7 different colors: Purple, Pewter, Gold, Silver, Red, Turquoise, and Pink. If you ever feel the need to replenish the pack they also sell refill items. There are other customizable kits for brides and other options as well.
The cost is more than worth what you are getting. I love being prepared. I have always been picked on by my friends because they always said I carried the “mommy purse” because of the amount of useful things I keep in it. They would really laugh at me now! :) I like being prepared and self sufficient.
