Pixi Beauty is my one of my all time favorite drugstore makeup brands. They have a great selection of products readily available and the quality just surpasses it’s peer products. Honestly, I feel that these are high end cosmetics available and everyday one-stop shopping locations. I am so excited to share with you all a few products from their new Fall Line. All of these beautiful cosmetics are perfect for Back to School (or just because…).
The Crayon Combo (found at Target) in Softly Smoky is perfect. Both ends, Line and Define, are incredibly creamy and tug-free on the skin. It transfers so easily and is highly pigmented. The Line end is a dark brown and comes to a finer point and the Define end is a pretty bronze. It retails for $18.

One thing you will need to go with your new Crayon Combo is the fabulous Dual Sharpener (found at Target). You can sharpen regular sized pencils as well as larger ones line the pencil showcased above. It has a little scraper/blade cleaner included in the packaging. It is so cute, it just tucks away inside the sharpener. It retails for $6.

This must-have tool was specifically designed to fit Endless Silky Eye Pen & Lid Last Shadow Pen, but it also works for most standard size pencils. Blade cleaner included for your convenience.” – Pixi Beauty
You all know I love a nude lip and the chubby-balm-stick-kick that is going on in the cosmetics world right now has me super excited. I love products that are super moisturizing and easy to wear. The Tinted Brilliance Balm (found at Target) finds the balance in both. The color shown here is Nearly Naked which is a neutral soft nude. These actually won an O-Ward (which is an award from O. The Oprah Magazine). These retail for $16. Lots of the shades on the website are already sold out completely.
“What it is formulated to do:
Packed with lip-loving ingredients, this glossy gel balm protects & hydates lips instantly. After the balm wears off, lips are left tinted with a flattering, personalized hue just for you (colour & intensity depends on pH level of lips).
Twist-up crayon requires no sharpening. Secure lid after use.
Beneficial ingredients and what they do:
Jojoba oil is an effective natural moisturizer and environmental barrier for the skin
Peptides plump fine lines
Vitamin E nourishes and protects
Shea butter nourishes the skin
Vitamin A is a powerful antioxidant
Rose extract nourishes & repairs”- Pixi Beauty
And my favorite of the entire lot of products I was sent for review is the Perfection Palette. This one is called Lit-Up Lovely (found at Target). It contains 16 eyeshadows, 3 cheek powders, a highlighter and a bronzer. I am not kidding… it was love at first sight. The colors are not only pleasing to the eye, the textures are mind-blowingly perfect and pigmentation is incredible.
The only fault I can say about the eyeshadow portion is that they are all shimmer. They aren’t glittery at all, but there are no mattes to make this a stand-alone palette. The good side of that is that there are two matte powders on the bottom that can be used as matte eyeshadows to tie all these colors in and they are perfect, being that they are light and medium matte shades. The 3 cheek colors are beautiful and the bronzer is a great shading option, with no real orange tones. This palette retails for $28.
“What it is formulated to do:
Fall in love with this gleaming palette containing only our most Pixi-perfect shades! With 16 eye shades, 3 cheek powders, highlighter & bronzer, this brightening collection wakes up your face, enhances your features and adds a subtle glow.
Beneficial ingredients and what they do: Vitamin E protects the skin.” – Pixi Beauty
The first row are the lightest shades. They are light in color but still completely pigmented. Some are cool tones and some are warm. There is a pretty icy pink shade. None of them have names so I wish I could name them for you. But LOOK at the perfection of finger-tip swatches. That is me barely touching the uber-butter-soft eyeshadows.
The second row contains more mid-tone-gold-ish shades. They almost look like actual metal dusts on my finger tips. The swipe from my finger tip to my arm shows you just how incredible the pigmentation is. I am serious that I think that these eyeshadows are super comparable to NARS Cosmetics. There are a few shade from the second row and the third row that actually remind me of actual NARS shades.
The third row built on the 2nd row and is even slightly more deep in tone and slightly different in shade. This row contains a brown, a taupe, a tan, and a copper. Seriously. Look at the finger tip swatch on my middle finger. It has such a high shine. I wore it today all over my lid and darkened it up with a shade from the fourth row. It was super pretty. Kind of looked like a look I have acheived with my NARS Best 6-pan palette.
The fourth row really reminds me of a few MAC shades. Actually I would say that the look similar to MAC shades but with a much better texture, like that of Urban Decay eyeshadows. Soft and blendable but still greatly pigmented. One shade looks a lot like MAC Beauty Marked. They are all really gorgeous and I just can’t believe a palette that costs less than $30 contains 16 eye shades that really knock my socks off.
The cheek powders are beautiful. Honestly they are more shimmer than I typically opt for in my typical cheek colors. They are gorgeous: two look like pretty blushes and one looks like a really nice satiny highlighter.
The last two powders in the palette are supposed to be a highlighter and a bronzer. These two shades are matte and sort of perfect for both. I am a huge advocate for a non-shimmery highlighter and bronzer. I have had so many people come to me in real life asking me how I make my highlight look so natural and I tell them that I use a regular pressed powder that is a few shades lighter than my skin tone. That is what this powder is for me. I really enjoy it.
Overall the entire set of products I have here are amazing. The palette is obviously my favorite, but the eye pencil duo fabulous and I am in love with Pixi Beauty products in general. You would be nuts not to run into your local Target or check them out online. I vote checking them out in Target in person, so you can see first hand the amazing quality that I keep rambling on and on about.
