I am a huge fan of exfoliating. I exfoliate my body and my face but sometimes I feel like ones with scrubby bits are too abrasive. I wouldn’t classify my skin as sensitive, but I don’t like the idea of rubbing my face raw. I recently came across the Exfoliare Exfoliating Gel and it is PERFECT for my needs.
“ExfoliarĂ© Face is an at-home spa experience for the woman who is always “on the go”! It’s a quick and easy alternative to chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Plus, it’s gentle even on the most sensitive skin! ExfoliarĂ© Face reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles, removes dull and rough patches, allows you to apply makeup to a smoother surface and reduces signs of aging.” – Exfoliare Skincare
This 100ml bottle has a nice push down pump. It delivers a clear gel. I was skeptical at first about this gel doing anything as far as exfoliating goes, but I immediately put it to the test. I first tried it on one hand, then on the other. I was so impressed I decided to do my elbows… I know that this is a face product, but I wanted to test out on less delicate skin before applying to my face. After waiting a couple days to make sure there weren’t any adverse reactions to this product, I attempted applying it to my face.
WOW! My hands and elbows felt amazing but my face felt like a baby’s booty! I am serious. I have never had a better exfoliation EVER. I have used just about everything there is out there and nothing has delivered the results I get from this gel.
I have done my elbows a few times now and they are so smooth. I have never had hydrated elbows and I actually apply lotions to them all the time and exfoliate with scrubby body exfoliators. Nothing has ever works. My elbows are now just as smooth as the rest of my arm. I cannot sing enough praises for Exfoliare!
The picture above is (1) my hand with nothing on it, (2) one pump of Exfoliare and (3) the product after being rubbed in. The way this works is you rub the product on dry skin and it starts pilling up into these little white balls. The balls are actually the product mixed with the dead skin it is removing. It does say that you should only leave this product on your skin for about 15 seconds and then washed off. It also mentions that if the product doesn’t pill up then there is no dead skin to be removed. Instructions mention that it should be done 3-4 nights a week, so I take that to mean every other night.
Exfoliare Exfoliating Gel retails for $35 for an entire 100 ml of product. I have used mine several times and still have almost a full bottle. A little goes a long, long way. I completely support this and urge you to get your hands on some, … like yesterday!
