The illustration is gorgeous and I, for one, am glad to own a piece of her work. Now I just have to figure out what will go in it and/or where to display it! :) The pretty girl clutching her GlossyBox is dressed in a party-ready outfit. Reminds me a bit of myself!
The same illustration is featured on the card that explains the items enclosed in the box. I never let myself look at the items inside before actually looking in the box itself… sort of kills the fun of opening the beautifully decorated box.
Immediately upon seeing all that was included I had a huge grin on my face. All of these products are great: some are generous sample sizes and a couple full size items.
After taking a peak I opened the card and read about the products.
c. Booth Honey Almond Nourishing Dry Oil Mist
“Elegant, nourishing oils absorb quickly into skin to smooth and soften while providing hydration. This dramatically lightweight dry oil for face and body imparts a light, lasting glow for instant radiance. Infused with a gentle, sweet blend of honey and almond, it’s the ultimate aromatic indulgence for the skin and senses.”
This stuff smells amazing. I have never used a dry oil before either but this stuff really intrigues me. I am excited to give it a go all summer. The full size of 4 oz costs $8 and this is a 2 oz size.

Philip B Lovin’ Leave-In Conditioner
“Philip B products revitalize every type of hair while evoking a warming, cooking or refreshing sensation and delivering a glossy, radiant hair.”
The Philip B product you receive will vary. The one I received is the Lovin’ Leave-In Conditioner. From their website it says this product does the following:
- Polishes and seals dry brittle ends so your cut looks sharp.
- Tamps down frizz; prevents color fading without weighing hair down; and shields against heat-styling damage.
- Strengthens with restorative Soy and Wheat Proteins and healing Amino Acids.
- Contains Chamomile, Nettle and Aloe extracts for extra moisturizing protection.
- Leaves hair shiny and smooth with a touch of Henna and Horsetail.
- Has a light botanical scent that’s appealingly, understatedly sexy.
This product also smells amazing. You can definitely smell the chamomile and aloe… I am not sure what nettle smells like but if it smells awesome, you can smell it too! :D The 2oz tube retails for $4.

Oscar de la Renta Essential Luxuries
“Inspired by the designer’s mastery of fashion, Oscar de la Renta introduces a tailored line of six unique scents inbued with his love of beauty and luxury. Comprised of specially sourced ingredients of the most exceptional quality, each fragrance echoes the close connections to Oscar’s vibrant life and loves, and perfectly speaks his language–find joy, be sparkling, feel gorgeous.”
The blue satin bag is filled with six sample sizes of his fragrances. They alllllll smell great. My senses are overwhelmed with this little bag. I went over to the website for the fragrances and they put you through a little “this or that” quiz and it leads you to the fragrance that your choices tailor for you. My quiz lead me to Sargasso – “A crisp, green, invigorating accord is the essence of sea spray.” Yep. That is me.
Each full sized bottle retails for $150. The samples provided are undisclosed in size. I have no way to gage the worth.
SpaRitual Nail Polish in Days of Wine and Roses
“SpaRitual offers a wide range of fun, sophisticated and modern shades to help you express the most colorful side of you. The nail lacquers are crafted out of naturally formulated, vegan, certified-organic and fair-trade ingredients, resulting in superior texture and quality. Colors will vary.”
The shade I got is UH-MAZE-ING. I definitely got the color most suited for me. It was funny because I was just taking off my last nail polish when the box came in the mail and I was going to put on a deep purple shade. I already had it out waiting for me. Some things are just meant to be.
Full size SpaRitual nail polish is $12.

Tarte Complexion Enhancing Lipstick in Fair-to-Light
“Get total lip therapy in a beautiful nude shade that’s uniquely you! These creamy lipsticks have a glossy, tinted core that gives the appearance of fuller-looking luscious lips. Thanks to complexion enhancing pigments and emollient waxes, lips never appeared more youthful.”
The arm swatches below show the difference between it being swiped on and blended together. On the left it is a direct swipe. You can see the bright pop of color inside the nude shade. The right side shows them blended together.
On the lip you can see how smooth they are. It applied over my lips and left a smooth looking surface. They almost look wet even though all that is on them is this lipstick. What a terrific product. The full size of this lipstick costs $14.50.

You take a quiz and it customizes a box, which is a lot like most subscription boxes. Even though the cost is a bit more, I find that I always receive products I will put to good use.
I would say that this GlossyBox is my favorite yet. Really exciting. You can sign up now for GlossyBox and get a free Model & Co Lip and Cheek Tint (worth $24) with the coupon code GIFT at http://www.glossybox.com
