Cellnique is a brand that has been around since 1996. They started out in Malaysia and opened their first salon in 2001. The brand launched their website in 2004 and a pro brand in 2005 called b.liv. In 2007 they started spreading into other Asian markets as well as all over the world via the internet. I have a been testing a few products and I am really impressed thus far.
This is my official review on the Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gel, Advanced Bio Renewal Masque, and the b.liv facial masks. I have been using these products for a while now and I am ready to dish out my opinions.
The Skin Action Sebum Gel is a phyto bio-engineering formulation gel for all skin types to reduce both blackheads and whiteheads on affected skin area without painful extraction. Layman’s terms: this is a gel that gets rid of the blackheads/whiteheads without squeezing and damaging the skin. I have been using this product for about a month now and I have seen a great improvement. My face has been less oily in the areas where I apply this and there is also less blackheads/whiteheads. This product is absolutely working for me and I recommend it. It comes in a hygienic pump that dispenses product evenly.
This product retails for $51 for 1 oz. and if you have a problem with seborrhea this is definitely something that you may want to try out. I think it is worth every penny and has quick results. It has been voted a customer favorite and with reason!
One of my unexpected favorites of the things I tried is the Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Masque. It is a clay mask that is formulated with bio-captured fresh fruit enzymes and acids. It exfoliates dead cells, optimizing cellular renewal performance and deep pore cleansing to help reveal softer fresher and healthier skin. It has an intoxicating fruity scent. Not heavy or overly fruity but a soft sweet pineapple scent is the main thing I pick up. Typically when I try a product that says it is made with fruit enzymes I don’t actually smell the fruit, so it is a nice bonus.
There were no real instructions on how to use the mask but I have been applying it allover the face, being careful not to get it to close to the eyes our mouth and then rinsing off after around 15 minutes. Everytime I do I can’t stop touching my face. It feels sooo soft and smooth after and the texture is unbelievable. On the weekends I have been doing this mask in the morning because it makes my makeup apply on so smooth.
This product retails for $51 for 1 oz of product. Masks typically aren’t something I sink a ton of money into, but I will easily say that this one is my favorite. I have been a long time user of clay masks and this one is by far my favorite.
The b.liv Original Japan Silk Masks are all fantastic and offer different ways to revive your skin. These sheet masks are made of 100% pure silk protein fiber and has cutouts for the eyes, nose and mouth. The masks is then soaked in essence/serum. Each mask is sealed in it’s own foil packet for sanitary reasons, and are easily travel friendly. These proteins actually allow the serum to penetrate your skin more thoroughly because it doesn’t allow the air to dry the mask. I adore these sheet masks. They are easily the highest quality sheet mask I have ever tried. All of the masks I have tried have been around the same price-point as these and these are so superior in quality that there is no question what I would chose again and again.
You can purchase these masks 7 pcs/box for $15. They each have their own characteristic so whichever result you are looking for chose that. I have used each one and I think I like the Utmost Moisture the most. I tend to use those on a Friday or Sunday night just to rejuvenate my skin after a week of makeup wear!
As you can tell, I am really enjoying the brand. Each of their products are of the best value for the money. I am excited that these products do what they say and appeal to the senses. It feels like you are at a spa while you are using these products at home!!!
What facial treatments have you been using lately?
