For the last two days where I live has been a fall wonderland. I know, I am in Florida… there are no leaves changing colors or falling off the trees but the weather as been low 60s and just wonderful. I don’t know what it is about the cooler weather, but that static in the air always gets a bug in me to go for jewel tones and anything reminiscent of fall.
Today I did a look with some of my MAC eyeshadows. They have been sooo neglected in the last year. I forced myself to work out of the palettes for the past couple of days and I am thrilled with the looks I have come up with. Also, the longevity of the looks I have created is astounding.
For my face, I used:
Origins VitaZing, Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer in light, and R&R pressed powder in Silk. I also used the Pink Grapefruit blush by Laura Geller.
On the lips I used a Laura Mercier Gloss in Opal. It is a beautiful barely there shade that adds just the right touch of sparkle.
On the eyes I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance then layed down a Paint Pot by MAC in Constructivist on the lids. I used MAC Cranberry all over the lid on top of Constructivist. I used Twinks to darken up the outer v and took some of Twinks into the crease. I decided that Twinks wasn’t dark enough for the look I was going for and took Handwritten in for a deeper effect. Also lightly dusted Handwritten over the entire crease. On the edges of Handwritten I used Soft Brown to blend. I then took MAC Shore Leave and highlighted the inner corners. I blended all of the eyeshadows together using a clean fluffy blending brush.
I then used my Trusty Essence Midnight In Paris Gel Liner and did a kitten flick. I wanted lots of lashes for this look so I used the It Cosmetics Hello Lashes! For the Brows I used a brow pencil from Etude House. It is amazing!
I hope you enjoyed my fall makeup look! What have you done so far this year that was fall inspired? Lipstick, cheek color, manicure? Switching out your decorations in your home? Anything at all! Just tell me in the comments below!
