I have been experimenting with different makeup removing techniques lately. 6 months ago I would just use a regular cleanser for my face because I was afraid of anything else. After breaking into oil cleansing I decided it was time to venture into others, just to test out and compare. The lastest one I have been trying is YBF Dual-Action Makeup Remover for Eyes and Lips.
I have seen several makeup removers on the market that look separated in the bottle. When shaken up the ingredients become mixed together and then turn into the almighty cleanser. This cleanser is a dual-phase, innovative formula containing water, aloe, fennel, and cucumber extract. It is made to soothe and calm the vulnerable eye area. The ingredients are gentle enough for people with sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
It claims to remove makeup easily without any tugging or pulling, including waterproof eye makeup. It is a non-oily formula intended to leave skin hydrated, not dry.
As for the claims, I do find it easy to remove my makeup with this. I soak a cotton pad and wipe the makeup from my face. I soak one cotton pad and lay it over one eye for 10-15 seconds to let it break up the makeup and then cleanse it away. Same for the other side. I don’t wear waterproof mascara EVER so I can’t testify to it removing that easily. My skin was thoroughly cleansed from this makeup remover, but I did go ahead and use another cleanser and a toner after. Because it says that it is just a makeup remover I didn’t want to take a chance of not actually cleansing my skin afterwards. I use toner to help me keep my skin balanced.
YBF Dual-Action Makeup Remover for Eyes and Lips retails for $20 on HSN and on the YBF site. Here is a direct link to the product here. Have you ever tried anything from YBF?
