Just received the latest Glossy Box for July 2012 and I was eager to open it up! I took my box outback and snapped pictures as I went and here there are!
In case this is the first time you have seen a post on this box it is a sample subscription service and it costs $21 a month. Each month has 5 deluxe size products, occasionally there will be a full size product in the mix.
There was a new issue of the Glossy Mag laid out on top! Adorable packaging as always! Never fails to feel like a present from a friend.
And after you open it up you see that this month’s box is filled to the brim with goodies and all of which I have never tried, so it was pretty exciting.
The theme of this month’s box was Summer Nights, which basically means they sent you nourishing products for your hair and lips and a smoldering eyeshadow trio.
This is the flip side of the card that breaks down all the details for you.
This is my first Senna Cosmetics item and I am happy that it happens to be an eyeshadow trio. That is my favorite type of makeup product, so it is fun to see that in there. It retails for $24 so it alone is worth the price tag of the box.
The next item is something that is completely new to me. Figs & Rouge Lip, Face & Body Balm! It is pure natural and organic and it is ever so adorable in a vintage like tin.
This box also includes Sebastian Color Ignite Multi Tone Shampoo and Conditioner. This is geared to keep color-treated hair looking beautiful longer.
Alessandro International Pedix Feet Heel Rescue Balm is also in the box. It is a foot cream oil that helps to leave your heels more supple and soft… and let’s face it… we ALL need that help in the summer. Flip flops and sandles leave our feet more dried out than any other time of year.
The extra this month is a fragrance towelette. It is nice to keep something like this in your bag to touch up throwout a long summer night!
I wanted to show you a little more detail on the Senna Cosmetics eyeshadow trio. The one I received was in nice rich earth tones. I haven’t played with it yet but look for a review on it in the future.
And look at the detail on the beautiful Figs & Rouge tin. It is absolutely adorable. The scent I received was Sweet Geranium. I am unsure if it comes in different scents.
And because the theme of this month’s box is summer nights I wanted to show you where I have been spending mine. Our pool is FINALLY finished and we just finished resodding our yard. Looks like we will be back to playing Bocce ball in no time! :)
Did any of you get this month’s Glossy Box? Were you as excited as I was? Another question, how many sample box programs do you ladies take part in? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by!
