A while back I found the beautiful Island Girl Scented Cuticle Oils online and I immediately wanted them. I had just discovered the awesomeness of cuticle oils and I was Google-ing them for hours. The Island Girl brand is sold in Hawaii or online. Because I have a fear of ordering anything online without seeing it in person I asked a friend of mine, fellow military wife, who lives in Hawaii about the brand. She then told me she was going to send me some goodies! EEEP!
A few days ago this awesome package arrived at my door and I tore into it immediately. I thought I was only going to be receiving the cuticle oil and she threw in so many beautiful things! :D
First up is the beautiful Scented Cuticle Oil. This one’s scent is Hibiscus. I ADORE the lovely dried/fake flowers that are submerged into the oil. It makes it so beautiful that I could honestly make it a centerpiece of my dinner table… Okay, maybe not that far! You get my point. I pulled this out at work the other day and all the girly girls gathered round! :)
My 2nd favorite thing in the bag was this GORGEOUS nail polish called Island Surf. It is a pretty deep pink, almost burgundy, polish with holo micro glitters.
The other polish is a beautiful royal blue called Mahalo Dream. It is a beautiful creme polish and the pigmentation is unbelievable!
You can see the holo sparkles of Island Surf in this next picture. It is simply breathe-taking.
My lovely friend also included bracelets/anklets that are made from shells. So Hawaiian. I want to wear them barefoot on the beach. I will channel the essence of a hula dancer! :)
My favorite of the two bracelet/anklets is this next one. It is gorgeous!!! I felt instantly transported into Hawaii while opening this package! I want all things Hawaiian!!!!
Have you ever tried anything from Island Girl? Let me know in the comments below. I can absolutely recommend all the items that I mentioned! They are all amazing!!! Island Girl is a drugstore brand and if you don’t live in Hawaii you can purchase by clicking here.
