I am a eyelash enhancing junkie. To me I don’t look “right” without full on lashes. Even on days that I am not wearing anything else I am still wearing mascara. There are a few different products out there right now to help them grow and I have tried a few of them, all with great results.
RevitaLash is my next journey in eyelash enhancement. I am trying out the Eyelash Conditioner, Spotlight Highlighting Pencil, and the Raven 12 Hour Eyeliner.
The RevitaLash Eyelash Conditioner has gotten a lot of good reviews in the past but I want to do my review with this a little differently. I wanted to show you my results week to week. I can assume that this made my lashes grow without taking pictures of my lashes once a week but I want to see the proof.
One interesting fact that I found about this brand is that it was developed when an ophthalmologist, Dr. Michael Brinkenhoff, wanted to give his wife a special gift. His wife had breast cancer and she was recovering from her intensive chemo treatments which left her eyelashes fragile and sparse. Such a touching story. Truly a special gift he was able to give her and all of us ladies (and gents) who are possibly dealing with similar issues or just want a boost.
How To Use:
You are supposed to apply the Eyelash Conditioner along the base of your lashes. You only need to use what is on the brush after being dipped into the formula one time: no more, no less.
RevitaLash Spotlight Highlighting Pencil is a creme-based stick illuminator. It looks very much like MAC Shade Sticks or Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks. It can be used to highlight the inner corner of your eye, your brow bone or even your cheek bones. I have used this product for all 3 and love the effect it gives. It isn’t overly shimmery but it is angelically illuminated. This has quickly become a staple product. (I have had these products about a week now and have been using them every day!)
RevitaLash Raven 12 Hour Eyeliner is a black automatic long-wearing eyeliner. The brand claims that it is highly pigmented, ultra intense, long-lasting color. So far, I am in agreeance. I do plan to fully review all of these products very soon, after trying them out for a bit more time.
Here are the swatches of the eyeliner and the illuminator. Really nice colors that would flatter anyone.
And these are my naked lashes prior to using any of the RevitaLash products. It was a picture taken super early in the morning so that explains the puffiness of my eyelids and the light wasn’t very good in the bathroom that morning which threw off the color of my skin! Such flattery, right? lol
None the less… Let us see how this product transforms my lashes!! Have you ever tried RevitaLash, if so did it work? And also have you tried anything else from Revitalash, like the mascara or any of the other color cosmetics? If so, please leave your comments below. Thank you!
