I am a woman of a short 5’2” (okay, okay… 5’1 1/2”) build and the boost of a nice heel improves the appearance of my body. Makes my legs appear longer, my body looks leaner, my posture improves… There are many, many benefits to wearing heels for us shorter ladies! I LOVE wearing gorgeous heels but sometimes they just aren’t worth the fuss of aching feet. In my last Influenster Spring Beauty VoxBox I received the Dr. Scholl’s For Her Ball of Foot cushions.
You may remember the Dr. Scholl’s For Her High Heel‘s post that I did back in September, so you know that as soon as I saw these in the VoxBox my heart skipped a beat.
I adore these high heels, nude patent leather is always a yes for me… especially with the interesting toe and the wooden platform/heel. Well guess how many times these babies have been worn? Twice… the day I bought them… and then 4 months after that. They are comfy when you first put them on but they seriously hurt after walking around for a while in them.
The Ball of Foot cushions are super simple to insert. You peel the protective backing off of the pad and that reveals the sticky-ish surface that you apply to your insole. And VOILA! It is done! Instant happy feet!

MY OPINION:
I think they are terrific. When you are first getting used to them, the feeling of something slightly squishy takes a second to get used to, but after that first 2 minutes I hardly noticed them. It almost felt like walking on air compared to the hard surface of the insole. This won’t be my last item from Dr. Scholl’s. They have a returning customer out of me! It is suggested that you change out your pads every 6 months or so, which I plan on doing.
THE VERDICT:
Two thumbs up! Great product!

Laura
