I recently acquired my very first Jo Malone London fragrance. I have been wanting to try the stuff for years. I have heard nothing but AMAZING things about the brand but I never pulled the trigger. The scent that I purchased is Orange Blossom. This seems to be one of the most popular of the line (as far as I have heard) and I thought it would be a great one to start with.
First of all, the packaging is so classic and chic. Nothing over the top, just nice and proper. Sometimes flashy packaging on perfumes/colognes are fun and nice but when you see a fragrance that comes in just a simple glass bottle with such a plain label you think to yourself (or at least I do), “Wow, this must smell so good it doesn’t need to be flashy.” I am happy to say that I feel it is true.
The brand says: “The scent of clementine leaves in the morning dew sparkles above a heart of orange blossom and water lily, transporting the wearer to a garden oasis.”
I have read several reviews from people that review only fragrance and most people give it a mid-range rating. I find it absolutely amazing. I grew up in Mississippi down a looong dirt road and I quite literally lived in the middle of the woods. Bordering all the woods on each side of my house was a blanket of honeysuckle vines. The scent was so strong around my house in the warmer months that they are the first things I would smell when leaving my front door. I told you that story to tell you this… THIS SMELLS LIKE HOME! I swear to you, I don’t smell any of what the brand describes this fragrance to be. I only smell honeysuckle vine and happiness.
Maybe the mixture of the scents creates the smell but I can’t pick each one apart. I guess what the say is true, the memory of a scent is truly a powerful one.

Is there anything that has triggered a similar memory for your? A scent that literally grabs you and holds you hostage in a state of recollection? This scent really did that for me and I think it will be a fragrance that I will repurchase time and time again.
