As most of you know I am a crazy taupe eye shadow hoarder and I have a new one to bring to you today!
As you can see from the swatches below it is a basic taupe. Not too much complexity with this one. It is a nice shade of taupe. You can build up the depth and darkness of the color by layering it on or you can do a nice wash on the lid by blending it out.
I do like the sheen that this Shadow Stick gives off. It is also very creamy–one of the creamiest stick eye shadows that I have ever come across. I feel like the creaminess of this eye shadow is part of it’s downfall though. The only problem that I have with this is that it creases about halfway through the day. I have worn this eye shadow by itself and layered under other eye shadows (and ALWAYS over a primer) and I can say that when it has a powder eye shadow layered over it does tend to last longer.
My Newest Addiction Rating: ♥♥♥ (3 out of 5) I really love the color and sheen of this Shadow Stick but I am not a fan of the fact that it creases on my lid so fast. The muggles (non-makeup freaks) that I work with probably didn’t even notice.
If you tend not to have a problem with excess oil production on the lids you may not have to worry about this formula. As always YMMV! Have any of you tried Mally’s Evercolor Shadow Sticks? If you like them, which color should I be trying?
xoxo,
Laura
