Hello beauties!!! I am interrupting your regularly scheduled beauty post to show you pictures from my family’s trip to the local Zoo’s Halloween event. It is called Spooktacular and my son had such a good time. :) (He was the ghost mask from Scream.).
I don’t know what I expected from our experience, because it was our first time attending, but I enjoyed it. I wish that the animals could have been seen or been a part of it in some way, buy I understand. They have to rest some time.
Anyway… I am going to take you on a small journey through my Instagram pictures! :D Hope you enjoy!
Me and T at the gates! He was so excited… he was ready to scare people and get some candy!!
I didn’t dress up as anything but because I have a flare for the dramatics I improvised with a glow stick? I will call it a “Neon Angel”, how about that?
He does look pretty spooky, wouldn’t you say?
He was TOTALLY scaring his dad! hahahaha I love it!
I wish I would have gotten a better angle of the pumpkins. There were HUNDREDS of pumpkins up and down the sides of the walk ways.
Some had colored lights inside of them to give off a truly eye-pleasing effect.
There are some elephant statues that looked really cool in the dark. I don’t know how well you can make them out here but I loved them!
Gorgeous fountain in the middle of the dining area at the zoo, which was completely transformed into a dance floor with roaming animals and other characters!
These were some of those “other characters”!
And ONLY IN FLORIDA can you find an alligator jump house…
Thanks for spending a moment to recap my evening in the Zoo! It was honestly a lot of fun!
