Hello dah-lings! I haven’t been wearing much makeup this month but I am very passionate about the things that I have been loving. I will just jump right into it because it is sort-of early where I am and I am not feeling to creative with words… Don’t want to bore you too much.
Revlon Nail Polish
What can I say? Revlon does some awesome polishes. Two of the ones I own are Chanel dupes (Perplex for Paradoxal and Carbonite for Graphite) and one is a Deborah Lippmann dupe (Facets of Fuchsia for Bad Romance). The other two are just pretty! :) All of the colors apply easily with no streaking and opacity at 2 coats. They last forever and are stunning. What more could you want in a nail polish? Not to mention that you can pick them up at the drugstore for around $4.
Rock and Republic Fatalistic
I don’t have the single eyeshadow for Fatalistic but I do have the Noir palette that has it in there. It is the deepest darkest sootiest black that I own in my collection. I use it mostly on my waterline and tightline to set a gel liner. It stays put and is just made of so much awesome. It’s only drawback is that it is sort of too soft. It shattered on the edge and from time to time I have to clear out the breakage. I have to store this trio very carefully, laying flat, because if I don’t it would ruin it. BUT it is such an awesome color that I am willing to go through all of its bitchy demands to keep it alive.
Chanel Illusion d’Ombre Illusoire
*sigh* I think I have fell in love with the perfect cream eyeshadow. It has high shine/shimmer, stays put, doesn’t crease, and I don’t even feel it on my eye. I could marry it, but I am sure it is illegal to marry an eyeshadow in the state of Florida… :/
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed
What a gorgeous blush. This is like my perfect nude blush. It lasts forever and it is pretty. I love that the color of the packaging is descriptive of the product inside. I feel like that may be the reason why I reach for it most… I know what color it is without digging. Nah… I like it because its beautiful… :)
OK… This month has been a pain the the arse for my skin. I wore some mineral foundation from a certain… ahem…. well known mineral brand and it broke my skin out to kingdom come… The main reason I haven’t done much makeup this month is because I am treating my face for blemishes everyday… In order to help with those I have been using the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque to get the oilies out and Clean & Clear Persa Gel for spot treating.
That is all this month…. Hope it wasn’t too disappointing! And as always, thanks for reading!
