Physician’s Formula Nude Wear Blush and Concealer

Affiliate Links.

If there is one drugstore brand that has a special place in my heart it is Physician’s Formula.  The packaging is adorable and the products are good.  The Nude Wear collection is packaged with rose gold, faux leather and bows!  How could I resist buying them up?  It is a packaging-lover’s dream!

The Nude Wear Touch of Glow concealer is one of those brush applicators where the product comes up through the middle.  It is a decent concealer.  It is on the thinner side and is very hydrating.  I like to use this on my under eyes for that factor.   Also it has a peachy tone to it so it will help cover blue really well.  It can also be used as a highlighter! :)  I would compare it to//deem it similar to YSL Touche Eclat, but less highlight-y.

The Nude Wear Nude Glow Blush is gorgeous.  I purchased the shade Natural, because it is a gorgeous peachy tone.  There are four blocks, each a different color.  There is a silvery overspray writing out the words Nude Wear but they wipe right off and don’t change anything whatsoever.

Each of these shades could easily be used on their own.  They are each different, soft, creamy and beautiful.

The pigmentation on these are unbelievable.  You have a true peach, a cool toned baby pink, a coral, and a blue toned pink.

When they are all swirled together they create the most beautiful shade I have ever seen.  I am loving this blush and have been using it non-stop!

I haven’t seen the Physcian’s Formula Nude Wear collection in a lot of stores yet, just some here and there.  As soon as you see this hit your drugstores I encourage you to pick it up immediately!  You wont regret it.  I think I was even able to get it BOGO50%!  Love drugstore deals!

Laura Mercier Spring Renaissance Collection: Creme Cheek Colour in Sunrise and Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Palm Beach

Press Sample

Spring makeup releases are my favorites.  It is a wake up from the toned down deeper shades of Fall and Winter.  It says, “HELLO, I am bright and happy and ready to take on the world!”  Laura Mercier’s Spring Renaissance Collection is all about color and the shades I have for you are on the tangerine-pink side of the color palete.

The Creme Cheek Colour in Sunrise ($24) is a gorgeous “clean orange”.  To me it is a peachy orange.  Perfect to mimic that freshly-kissed-by-the-sun glow your cheeks get in the spring!  It is a long-lasting, natural cheek colour formulated to provide translucent, buildable coverage for a soft, velvety finish.  The consistency is creamy, but thin which is how it delivers the beautiful, buildable pigmentation that makes it special!

The Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Palm Beach ($27) is the PERFECT color for spring.  It is a tangerine pink and I love it.  This is my very favorite item from the entire collection.  It is a luxurious lipstick that gives lips the ultimate in colour, texture, and finish. In one smoothing swipe, the crème formula envelops lips in rich colour with a semi-lustrous finish.  It is comfortable on the lip as well as leaving a beautiful glossy, color-rich finish!

In the photo below the blush is on the left and the lipstick is on the right.  It is simply amazing!  I will be featuring these in a look coming very soon!

Get on over and take a look at the entire Spring Renaissance Collection from Laura Mercier.  There is lots of color to be seen.  It includes a little something for everyone!  Judging the entire collection on the two products I have for you, it is fabulous!

Jane Cosmetics, It’s Back And Better Than Ever!

Press Sample, I Bought It

When I first heard the buzz about Jane Cosmetics coming back to the market my heart fluttered.  The very first eyeshadow I ever purchased was from this brand.  I was so sad and disappointed when they left the market so long ago but they are back and better than ever!
The packaging is also very sleek and chic.  It is a basic black with white lettering for the brand name. The colors are easy to see and easily identifiable.  The names are whimsical and sweet.  What more to ask for, right?

“The beloved brand is back … and better than ever with the highest quality formulas (at affordable prices), an array of beautiful shades and finishes and a renewed emphasis on making the world a better place. The packaging has been updated with fun, vibrant lomographic imagery, featuring unique lighting effects, vignette framing and richly saturated colors.” – Jane Cosmetics

I have a lot of the new products to share with you and NOT EVEN ONE of them is a dud.  Get ready for swatches-galore!

I have 5 glosses, one pH Adjusting Stain Gloss, 1 Intense Color Lip Gloss, and 3 of the regular Lip Glosses.  All of the glosses retail for $7.
Jane calls the Lip Gloss and Intense Color Lip Gloss “high performance” and I concur!  They are pigmented, shiny, moisturizing and fun!  The applicators of these glosses are slanted so they are comfortable on the lip and easy to apply.  They are sheer but highly pigmented.  They also contain vitamin E!

Lip Gloss in Be Bold (deep raspberry)

Lip Gloss in Charmed (sheer berry)

Lip Gloss in Inner Light (hot pink sparkle)

Intense Color Lip Gloss in Confident (bright pink coral)

The pH Adjusting Stain Gloss comes in a few different varieties and I have the one in Shimmer.  I did a test on my lips for you.  You can see that within 5 minutes my lips really did adjust in color.  It was pretty phenomenal the way the color transformed.

One of my favorite products from the line are the Cream Eye Shadows.  I find this formula to be exactly what I am looking for in a cream eyeshadow.  It applies on like a true cream (not dry like some cream eye shadows), allows for plenty of blend time, and when it is set it isn’t going anywhere! These retail for $8.
“Draw attention to the sparkle in your eyes with Jane’s metallic Cream Eye Shadow. A high-performance cream-to-powder shadow, our smudge-proof formula glides on seamlessly and dries in a flash, leaving a beautiful metallic finish. An easy-to-use wand makes applying a cinch: simply swipe lids for a soft, sheer sheen, or top with Jane’s powder eye shadow for supercharged shine.” – Jane Cosmetics

I have Shimmering Silver, Polished Pewter, and Precious Pink Orchid.
Shimmering Silver is just that, a platinum silver shimmer.
Polished Pewter is my VERY favorite.  It is, OF COURSE, a metallic taupe.
Precious Pink Orchid is a beautiful pale pink with white pearl.

Do you see the perfection in those swatches?  *drooling*

The Eye Shadow line from Jane has a WHOPPING 45 eyeshadows to choose from.  Some are shimmer shades and some are matte.  I have two shimmers and one matte for you today.  They are all very different in color, but one thing rings true in them all:  they are soft, pigmented, and perfect.  They retail for $8
“Radiate warmth and wonder through your eyes with Jane’s luxurious Eye Shadow. The petal soft formula contains intense color pigments in a gorgeous array of matte & shimmery shades… after all, Jane believes that confidence comes in many colors! A high-performance powder shadow at an affordable price, each is embossed with the brand’s signature blooms—Jane’s symbol for empowering women and inspiring social good.” – Jane Cosmetics

The two shimmer shades I have for you are Rosy Posy and Eclipse.  The matte shade I have is called Willow.

Rosy Posy is pink with soft shimmer.  It is delicate and gorgeous.  I would call this eyeshadow more of a satin than I would a shimmer.
Eclipse is a gorgeous, glistening copper sun.  I would say that this shade is downright metallic.  The opacity is unbelievable.  This is definitely going to be my go-to summer shade.
Willow is a matte, medium taupe.  It is also my new HG crease shade.  It is that perfect shade to contour your lids.  I have a mono lid and it is sometimes incredibly hard to create a lid that has depth and this shade changes that.  Today all I wore on my eye was a shimmery cream/white shade on the lid and this in the crease, some winged liner and mascara.  It was gorgeous.  I kept looking at my eyes and it was all because of the shade Willow.

I mentioned earlier that I wore winged liner today, I created it with the Water Resistant Liquid Eye Liner.  This liner has a bristle brush, not a felt tip.  I am not used to using these sorts of brushes, but it was easy to use and honestly… I may make a permanent switch to this line.  I love that the shade I wore had a sparkle to it and the wing was perfect and sharp.  For an example, take a peek at this look I created.  The liner is this!  They retail for $8

“Show the world your beautiful eyes with Jane’s Water-Resistant Liquid Eye Liner, designed to deliver intense color in a single brushstroke. A high-performance liquid liner at an affordable price, the long-wearing formula dries quickly while color stays put. Whether you opt for subtle or super dramatic, the precision brush makes applying a snap.” – Jane Cosmetics
The three shades I have to show you are Metallic Lilac, Graphite and Golden Black.
Metallic Lilac is described as a shimmering plum.
Graphite is a charcoal with multicolored shimmer.
Golden Black is a black with golden shimmer.

The Water Resistant Eye Liners are also great.  They transfer easy, but they aren’t so soft they are messy.  Once these liners set, they are good to go for hours and hours.  They can be smudged or blended out a bit so you can definitely use them in a variety of ways.  I have been having fun playing with them in my waterline.  They retail for $6
“Enhance your eyes with Jane’s luxurious Water-Resistant Eye Liner. The creamy, color-rich formula glides seamlessly before it sets, so it blends like a breeze. Plus, it comes in an array of matte & shimmery hues that hold tight (after all, Jane believes that confidence comes in many colors!) so you can mix, match and experiment with your favorite beauty trends.” – Jane Cosmetics

The shades I have to share with you are Brown, Midnight Blue and Forest Green.  The tips come nice and pointy but after one or two uses you will be left with a dull, less fine tip.  That is perfectly okay though because my favorite use for these are for smudging under my eyes or in my waterline.  (In the picture above you can tell that I used the brown shade immediately!)
Brown is a shimmery, rich chocolate brown.
Midnight Blue is a royal navy blue.  It is truly unique.  It has a sheen that is unlike any other blue pencil I own.
Forest Green is a dark emerald green.  It is such a beautiful shade of green it has been making me think up different eye looks to use it with.  I tend to stick to my same old neutrals and taupes, but when I use this in combination with my regular looks they are completely transformed.

I have two Bronzing Powders and one Multi-Colored Cheek Color.  The Bronzing Powders retail for $10 and the Multi-Colored Cheek Color retails for $12.  All of these shades are so buttery-soft they seem like a cream to powder.  They are definitely only a powder but they apply so beautifully.
The Bronzing Powders are highly pigmented, soft, blendable, and packed with vitamin E.  The shades I have for you are Give and Inspire.
The Multi-Colored Cheek Color is all the same things as the Bronzing Powders and it is in the shade Pink Bouquet.

Pink Bouquet creates a soft, baby pink flush.  You can also narrow in on one specific shade inside the compact and create a look all your own.  One thing that I am known for doing is doing a cheek color all over my cheek bone but concentrate a stronger color on the apples.  This palette/compact will make that easy.
Give Bronzing Powder is ideal for a terra-cotta glow.  This shade is a bit strong for me, but a little can create the perfect contour.  When I use this on my light-to-medium complexion I blend the edges out really well and it creates that perfect shadowy hollowed cheek look.
Inspire Bronzing Powder is just described as soft.  I do agree that that is what this is, a soft tan.  I apply this with an intention to create a sun-kissed glow.  It is a few shades darker than my natural skin tone but not dark enough for me to contour.  It would be a perfect contour shade for someone who is very fair.

Jane Cosmetics‘ come back is mind blowing.  I remember all of the products being good but I can’t imagine that they were as good as they are now.  I am wondering how this is a drugstore line and not in department stores drawing in twice the retail prices.  The entire line is that GREAT!  Not only can you find the products on Jane’s website, you can also pick them up at Ulta and Stage Stores.
There is a lot of information and pictures to take in on this post so feel free to pin some of them for easy reference or bookmark this review/overview for a shopping reference.

Stila Portrait of a Perfect Blush

Press Sample, Affiliate Links
Another holiday palette from Stila is the Portrait of a Perfect Blush.  It is basically a palette of 5 shades of blush (2 of which look like a bronzer and highlighter).  This beautiful palette retails for $16 and will cover any shade you are possibly looking for in a cheek color.

The palette itself is made of paper/cardboard so it is lightweight and portable.  The shades L to R go from Golden, Illume, Pretty Pink, Precious Pink, and Rose.

I have actually worn all f these shades so far and they are all beautiful.  The Rose shade looks fairly full on, but with a light hand you can make it a perfectly natural flush.  Rose is probably my favorite shade in the palette for the colder months because it mimics the shade my cheek turns from the winter cold.

Stila Portrait of a Perfect Blush can be found on stilacosmetics.com, Ulta, Sephora, and anywhere else that carries the brand.  It is a gorgeous palette that anyone could benefit from!  Pick it up for the blush addict in your life, even if that blush addict is you!  :)  At $16 a pop, you can’t pass it up!

It Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush in Matte Sweet Apple

Blush is such a great product to use for so many reasons: adds a youthful glow, wakes your face up, cuts away the sallowness, adds “instant happy”, and so many other things!  It Cosmetics has a great new Vitality Cheek Flush in the color Matte Sweet Apple.  Keep reading to see the swatches!

“Vitality Cheek Flush is a cheek stain infused into a powder! Developed with plastic surgeons, this hydrating, brightening, and antiaging blush gives the perfect naturally pretty flush of color to the cheeks and lasts. This truly innovative formula contains It Cosmetics’ Hydra-Luxe technology, including ingredients such as plum oil, cherry oil, hyaluronic acid, pomegranate, seaweed extract, grape seed, aloe, and jojoba that all work together to treat, hydrate, condition, and nourish your skin. Plus, Vitality Cheek Flush is packed with antioxidants, including vitamins A, C, and E, acai, green tea, and white tea. This made-in-the-USA formula is also paraben-free.”
The packaging is as expected: sleek, black, simple.  The back has a label identifying exactly what it is and other information.

When you pop it open you find the product and a decent sized mirror.  I find it important to have cosmetic product that has a nice mirror in it so I don’t need to have an extra compact JUST FOR a mirror when I travel.

The color is really very pretty.  It is a nice reddened pink that almost has a coral look to it.  The name has apple in it and it surprisingly reminds me of what I would imagine a modern-day Snow White to wear.

The great thing about this blush is that it is all matte!  No shimmer is so important to me.  I have naturally oily skin so adding any sort of shine or shimmer can really add tooooo much.  Also adding shimmer to older skin can emphasize your age.  Having a go-to matte blush is really important!

I love the arm swatch.  It shows how pigmented it is as well as how easy it is to blend out.  The texture is smooth and silky.  It is pretty amazing!  It is a pretty intimidating color, but everyone can wear it because it can be applied very sheer while still lasting all day.
I took photos of this blush on my cheeks in 3 different sets of lighting to show you the dimension that this blush has.  It is matte but that doesn’t mean it is boring!!!  You can see the beautiful complexity in each photo.

In dimmer light you can see how it almost looks peachy coral… mmm… Delish Matte Sweet Apple!!!

Back to application…
The brush that it is sold with on QVC is amazing.  It is the Luxe French Boutique Blush Brush.  I have 2-3 of these already so I wanted to give this one away to you!!!  I did an entire review on this brush in the past and here is the link to that

Smashbox Blush Rush in Radiance

Sometimes all you need to look more alive is a good bright blush.  Have you ever had those days where you feel like you look dull, washed out, and just flat out boring?  I find that the remedy for me is to add a nice blush.  One that I often pick up for a refreshed look is the Smashbox Blush Rush in Radiance.

The packaging of this blush is very interesting.  From the top it looks like it is just a ordinary pot of blush with a see-thru top, but the bottom actually swivels out to reveal a nice mirror that will come in handy when doing your make-up anywhere other than your vanity.

The vivid pink color probably intimidates many but it is really nothing to be feared…

As you can see: when applied heavily it looks just like it does in the pan but if you use a nice fluffy brush and don’t apply a ton of product you can get a natural bright flush look.

Another thing I like about this blush is that it isn’t shimmery but it does have a gorgeous satin, skin-like finish.  Perfect for those that want a luminous look but don’t want the shimmer.

This blush also lasts such a long time.  I notice that my face looks blush-less after half a day’s time with certain blushes.  The Blush Rushes by Smashbox last a good-long time and stay looking even and amazing.  I give them 5 out of 5 stars!
What is your go-to product for a happy face?

Mia Mariu Mineral Blush in Corazon de Melon Review and Swatches

I am a blush hoarder and I am starting to branch out with the shades I have been wearing.  I recently have been on a melon/orange kick (probably due to it being the color of the year).  The Mia Mariu Mineral Blush in Corazon de Melon is such a pretty one!

The packaging is basic cardboard/cardstock type material.  The compact itself is nice and chic with simple black packaging with the branding being written in red.  It isn’t a glossy black plastic, it is pretty and matte.

There is a mirror on the inside of the compact, which is nice.  I do my makeup on the go ALL the time and I loooove products that have mirrors.  When I am packing a travel makeup bag I DO make sure that my products include mirrors, so needless to say–this blush has been in my bag for almost two weeks.

The label on the back shows all of the imformation that would make this one distinguishable from any others you may have from the brand.  The name, amount of product (2.6 grams) and where it was made.

And for the fun part… the swatches.  The swatch on the left is a heavy swipe and the swatch on the left is applied with the Sephora 55 Airbrush.  It is soooo gorgeous on the skin.  It gives off a satin finish and the color is amazing.  It really lifts my face and gives me a natural flush.  It has been perfect for the season and I am sure this shade is actually very nice all year long.  It is light at first, but can be built up with a heavier hand.

You can see in the swatches without flash (bottom picture) that the luminosity isn’t too much.  It is very subtle with no sparkle/glitter.  Such a gorgeous texture.

Mia Mariu Mineral Blushes retail for $17 at miamariu.com.  The shade Corazon de Melon is gorgeous and I would recommend to anyone.  Even though it has a warm undertone I think it would suit anyone because of it’s natural look.  Quite honestly, it is a nice 2 in 1 product for people that don’t enjoy wearing bronzer in the summer.  It is a pretty deeper tone blush that adds warmth to the face.  I give this product two thumbs up and a 5 out of 5.
What shade have you been wearing on your cheeks lately?  If you have a color family or even a specific product, tell me in the comments below.  Thank you!!

MAC Hey, Sailor! Fleet Fast Blush

I was wandering around the mall the other day and TOTALLY forgot that the MAC Hey, Sailor! collection had already been released.  Me being a Navy Wife I should definitely own an item or two from the collection, right?  I don’t know what it is, but I haven’t been following MAC Limited Edition releases lately…  Fleet Fast definitely had me at Hello!
The packaging is something that I didn’t think I would like at first but it is growing on me.  I love the red, white and blue with the striping that is sort of off and whimsical.  Very summer.

The shade is a nice coral pink with golden sheen.  The sheen is subtle and the color itself is muted.  It is a very nice summer color.  I would compare it to NARS Orgasm (but definitely worlds better) or even Tarte Glisten.  There are a few shades in my collection that are similar but this one is definitely very pigmented.

You can see the golden shimmer in the swatch below, but it is ever so faint.  It shows up as a true satin finish and I think it would suit ladies of many different skintones.  It is nice and muted for ladies who are more pale but pigmented enough to show up on darker skin as well.  I wore it 2-3 times since purchasing and I had no problem with it lasting all day (10 hours of wear in all) and I don’t expect that anyone would have much of a problem.  All-in-all I think this would be a wonderful addition to anyone’s blush collection.

It is limited edition so if you are interested and you find it, definitely snag it.  This is the only thing I ended up picking up from the collection because I have so many similar colors.  I wanted to pick up the Jaunty eyeshadow but I didn’t in fear that I have too many neutrals and I probably have a dozen or so dupes for it.  Who knows… I may pick it up at a later time.  What did you pick up from Hey, Sailor!, tell me in the comments below!

READY. HELLO. Bare Minerals READY Blush and Eyeshadow 4.0

I have been super interested in Bare Minerals new pressed line and finally decided to give them a go.  I was walking through the Navy Exchange a few days ago and ran across these lovely compacts and decided to give some a swatch or two.  :)
I am truly pleased that Bare Minerals has come out with a pressed line because as much as I love their eyeshadows I never use any of the ones I have because in a pinch it is a hassle to get out all of the jars and foil them etc.  (If I would have had the Minerals Mate years ago I would probably have used the original BE eyeshadows more.)
Immediately I was drawn to “The Faux Pas” which Bare Minerals describes as a blushing pink.  I like to think of it as a pop of a natural bright pink.  It is super smooth and pretty.  I have worn it every day except 1 since I purchased it.  I can honestly say that it doesn’t wear off throughout the day like some other blushes I own.  The formula of it is really long-wearing.

You all know that I am a sucker for taupe and “The Truth” quad is really perfection.  This is a nice, easy everyday go-to palette.  It featuring Serendipitous + Magnetism +Fate + Apropos (delicate peach/brushed taupe/light mocha glaze/twinkling espresso).  I love it because it offers different finishes and textures as well as light, midtone and dark shades.  This is basically a great more compact alternative to the Naked/Naked2 palette.

Here are my swatches.  Even though these swatches look nice, I promise it will blow you away in person.  And I would also like to appologize about the swatches being slightly smudged.  I swatched them inside of my house and on my walk outside I think my arm brushed against my side.  :(  It is true to color though, so no worries there.  I plan to try more of these quads out.

Have you tried anything from the Bare Minerals READY line?  If so let me know which item in the comments below.  What did you think about them?

Top 10 Spring Blushes

I am so excited to bring you my favorite Spring blushes…. Since we are already in May and going into the Summer I also find that these are very good for transitioning…. Hell…. looking at them I would consider them fantastic for the summer as well.  These are the blushes I wore the most this past Spring though.  I don’t foresee there being any change going into the Summer months.

I tried to include higher end and lower end brands… and everything in between respectively.

And there are some Limited Edition shades that I included but you can find dupes (or you may still be able to find the same one at your stores)…

Soo jumping right into it…
This blush is my most recent blush purchase but it was definitely needed in my collection.  I love that this is a cool pink-possibly the only cool toned pink I own.  It looks as though it is a baby pink but it is actually decently bright and more deep than a baby pink.  It is subtle but not… perfection in a blush if you ask me.  And of course, the scent of roses.  I catch myself breathing more deeply while applying Chanel blushes.  :)

Sephora + Pantone Blush Duo (Coral and Desert Flower)
This sort of shade is me through and through.  These have always been shades that I have gravitated to for years.  Yes, it is the color of the year but I suppose it is the color of my life.  I adore the versatility in the duo as well.  You can have matte or shimmery.  You can even mix the shades and come up with something that is perfect for someone that prefers either.  I honestly feel that this shade suits most skin tones.  I have a neutral skin tone and perhaps that is why I have always gravitated towards something like this.  I actually tend to stay in a medium with cool and warm tones in all of my preferences in makeup.

Sleek Santorini
This blush is an exception to my personal “rules”.  I tend to stay to a more neutral/natural palette of shades but this one is a screaming loud bright fuschia pink.  It is also matte which is hard to find in a shade such as this-perhaps why I am drawn to it.  It is the perfect pop to a plain face.  :)

This is a blush in which much of my love has been given.  I have had this blush for a long time and even though it looks barely touched, I assure you that I have worn it more times than I care to note.  It is one that I do tend to layer.  I love using Luster as a base for my whole cheek and then popping something beautiful and bright right in the center or on the apple.  It gives it a more natural gradient.  Luster is a good one for layering with many other colors.

I do believe this shade has been discontinued but I have seen it recently in some drugstores.  I adore this shade out of the 4 in the Mineral Blush line.  It is a beautiful coral pink shade and is perfectly pigmented.  I wore this shade a lot in the winter and it really transitioned nicely into Spring.  Now that Summer is fast approaching I don’t think that I will be reaching for it much because I do tend to reach for a big punch of color in the cheek department and this blush, though it is a hue that is good for Summer, is slightly more muted than I prefer.

Where do I begin with this wonderful gem?  I love this on the lips but it is even better during the summer months on the cheeks.  I do tend to have my makeup melt off more in warmer months and this is a perfectly perfect cream/gel tint.  I like to wear little to no foundation during the Spring and Summer and this really stains the skin perfectly and doesn’t fade on me like a powder does.  This will be a staple for me in the following months.

This is the blush that changed my world.  :)  Dramatic?  Yes, but I don’t know what it is about this blush that has my senses in a tissy.  I love the shade, the formula, the wear, nothing has let me down about this blush.  I find myself reaching for it above all others since I purchased it.  This is my only Rouge Bunny Rouge blush and I don’t think it will be the case for long.

This is one of the blushes that I like to layer as well.  Only difference between this and Luster is that this is the shade that is my focal point.  Where Luster lies in the background Lotus Pink is in the center/forefront of whatever gradient I am creating.  It is such a flattering, beautiful shade.  You can absolutely wear it all by itself but with a beautiful shade like Lotus Pink why not let it build off of other great blushes?

This was one of my first high end blush colors to ever own.   I seriously love this shade of pink with hints of peach.  I am not a fan or Orgasm by NARS.  Didn’t flatter me at all but Deep Throat, it’s more sophisticated subdued family member really works for me.  The name choices for the brand are a lot to be desired but I do really like every other aspect of the line.

As soon as this baby hit the shelf, Laura was there buying it up.  I had another shade of this as well but I found athat I enjoyed this one way more than the other–probably because there is a total trend rolling with the blushes that I purchase.  They are all different but very very similar.  They all tend to follow that uber-thin line of coral-peach-pink.  This blush is one that can rival higher end brands hands down.  Great quality and I find that I am happier that I own it.  ;)

L to R: BECCA Watermelon Beach Tint, Physicians Formula Happy Booster in Natural, Milani Mai Tai, Sleek Santorini, NARS Deep Throat, NARS Luster, Laura Mercier Lotus Pink, Rouge Bunny Rouge, Sephora + Pantone Coral, Sephora + Pantone Desert Rose, Sephora + Pantone Coral and Desert Rose mixed, Chanel Tumulte

Outside; no flash.

Same order on these swatches

Indoor; flash.

And I had to leave my hand in the indoor swatches because I was soo utterly entranced by the nail polish.  :))))  I am LOOOOVING the Layla Hologram Effects polishes.  This one is 04 Ultra Violet.  Isn’t it gorgeous.  The previous post was done with my iPhone but here is a fantastic shot (impromptu) I got of it.  It was of course taken indoors with flash.  I am amazed at how nice it actually looks.  YAY!

Soooo…. What were the blushes that you loved the most these past few months and what blushes are you possibly transitioning to this Summer?  I find all my Spring and Summer blushes to typically be the same.  And to be completely honest….. I tend to wear these a lot in the winter too.  I am not one to follow “seasonal makeup” rules.  I feel like I can pull off any color any time of year.  I just like to wear brighter colors on my cheeks when I have a darker skin tone.
xoxo,
Laura
