Ciate London Paint Pots Nail Polish in Antique Brooch

Ciate Antique Brooch

Ciate London is quickly becoming my favorite nail brand.  Everything I have tried has been interesting, pretty, and they make it so easy to achieve the look.  They nail polish bottles are cute too, they have a long pretty handle and a cute little bow.  The glitter polish I am showing you today is called Antique Brooch.  It is a fitting name because when you look at it in detail it really looks vintage and like it is something quite special.

Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks in Taupe, Copper Rose, Plum, and Brown

Press sample.

I am a cream eyeshadow stick lover from way back.  I have mentioned Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks here before but I have a few new ones that I want to cover so they can blow you away too.  These are basically very similar to the ones from Laura Mercier or By Terry in the sense that they apply on smooth and blend easily but once they are set they are locked there.  They also have the most beautiful radiance that is hard to put into words.  The shades I am showing you today are Taupe, Copper Rose, Plum, and Brown.

Ardency Inn AMERICANA Custom Coverage Concentrate, A Beauty Do-ALL

 Affiliate Links.

Ardency Inn is an amazing brand in which I am infatuated.  The AMERICANA Custom Coverage Concentrate is a very special product, and one that I am excited to know exists!  It is a complexion perfecter that is flexible to your needs.  I personally am interested in many different looks for my skin: full coverage, light coverage, BB creams, CC creams, etc.  CCC is essentially concentrated pigments that allow you to mix it with ANYTHING (the company recommends water-based moisturizer) and come up with a foundation that is all your own.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars: Zhora, Pris, and Electric Grandma

Press Samples, Affiliate Links.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and their Lip Tars are no newb to the beauty scene, but I am definitely a newb to them.  I have known about them for a long time but they always sort of scared me because the shades were always so crazy and intense.  They also have a ton of really neutral, wearable colors and they are VERY on trend for Spring.  The shades I have to show you today are Zhora, Pris, and Electric Grandma.

Laura Mercier Spring 2014 Lip Glaces in Wildflower and Orchid

Nothing screams warm weather to me like a bright colorful lip.  During the spring and summer I don’t wear much on my face because I am typically oilier and most makeup will break down.  I think that is why so many of us makeup lovers turn to a beautiful lip as a focus.  Laura Mercier perfectly timed their release of 13 new shades to be added to their Lip Glace line.  Lip Glaces are described as high-shine, perfectly pigmented lip glosses with long-lasting color that gives the appearance of fuller lips.  Until now the shades were very neutral and perfect for everyday and work.  The new shades are bright and vivid while still being very wearable.  The two I have to show you today are Wildflower and Orchid.

Wildflower is a beautiful magenta shade.  It has a lot of those deep hot pink tones in it with a touch of something else that I can’t quite put my finger on.

Orchid is a seductively deep purple shade and HELLO!  Can we say Radiant Orchid?  They really nailed this shade.  It is my favorite of the two.  I have been pairing this gloss with a simple champagne eyeshadow and thick black liner on my eyes all week and I am enthralled.  This shade takes the cake!

Side by side you can see that Wildflower is much more pink and bright and Orchid is just deep-amazing-purpleness.

I am excited about the addition to Laura Mercier Lip Glace ($25) of these bright, fun colors.  They are perfectly done.  I would also like to mention that these are smooth and they do actually make my lips look smoother and more full.  They aren’t sticky.  They pack a punch.  They last a long time.  Full of WIN!

Wet N Wild Color Icon Powder Play featuring The Naked Truth

Few things excite me like seeing a brand new, untouched display on the drugstore shelves.  I recently stumbled upon the Wet n Wild Color Icon Powder Play 5 Eyeshadow Palettes.  I actually purchased The Naked Truth, so the review of that will be at the end.

Basically The Naked Truth is the neutral one of the bunch and the look of a few of the shades had me drooling.  I picked them up and brought them home ASAP!

The finger swatches turned out fairly nice after a couple passes over the eyeshadow.  Just one swipe wasn’t enough to build up the color.  It was initially pretty disappointing.  I am used to the super-soft almost creamy feeling shades from their past palettes.

Once I rubbed my finger onto the back of my arm I noticed that the eyeshadows transferred pretty accurately.  So my initial disappointment *poofed* right away.  I personally love a palette that has a few heavily pigmented shades and some others that are on the medium-sheer side for blending and highlighting.  This palette is essentially perfect for including all of the above.

I don’t have a huge, long blogpost on these with a lot of wording but The Naked Truth is really pretty.  I give it an overall B+.  I would also like to include it into the perfect travel palette category.  I did a post on the best eyeshadow palettes for traveling not long ago and I honestly wish I would have known about it them.   Go take a look in your local drugstore to see if hey have this display!  I hope you found this post helpful and I thank you for stopping by to read my ramblings of beauty!

Ardency Inn Americana Natural Lip Color Pencil in Delancey

Affiliate links, Press sample.

Chubby lip pencils are all the rage right now and I am a huge, huge fan.  The one I am talking about today is the Ardency Inn Americana Natural Lip Color Pencil in Delaney.  It is a perfecting lip color pencil that enhances the natural beauty of the lips.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Ardency Inn it is a brand of color cosmetics that was born in the New York music scene.  It is a line that brings makeup artistry to the everyday woman.  Each and every formula has specific focus on color pay off, longevity of wear, and is easy to use.

Delancey is a fair nude with pink undertones and it is GORGEOUS!  These pencils are creamy, pigmented, and silky smooth/not sticky.  They are formulated with shea, cocoa, and shorea butters to hydrate, nourish and sooth the lips.  One thing that is impressive with these pencils is that while they are moisturizing, creamy, and pigmented they are also long lasting.  That is a hugely interesting point because it is almost never seen.  Like a nude colored unicorn.

Ardency Inn Americana Natural Lip Color Pencil in Delancy ($23) is my favorite high-end chubby lip crayon to date.  I have never seen such a beautiful creamy nude lip color look this good since… well, ever!  This brand is exclusively sold through Sephora.

Milani Cosmetics Spring 2014 Coming Up Roses Powder Blush in Coral Cove

Press Sample.

One of my favorite drugstore releases for Spring 2014 is Coming Up Roses from Milani Cosmetics.  This is the second time they have done this collection.  Last year was more muted tones and this year there are some bright, healthy-glow shades.  The interesting part is that ALL FOUR of the shades are matte.  The one I have to show you today is Coral Cove.

The flower detail is beautiful.  Almost too pretty to be fake, but alas it is a blush.  I kind of want to go buy two of them all so I can keep one to look at and one to use!  :)

The swatch shows that it is incredibly pigmented but also very blend able.  It has a beautiful finish, one that will melt right into the skin and become a part of your face instead of the appearance of it sitting on top of your foundation.

In my look below I am wearing the shade and I feel like it looks like a pretty, natural glow.  One I would get from a pretty intense workout.

If you haven’t seen the Spring 2014 Limited Edition Coming Up Roses collection from Milani Cosmetics then definitely keep your eyes out.
