I noticed when I was watching the Red Carpet arrivals there were lots of nude colored dresses and they all really were my favorites. I am not going to go in any particular order of favoritism but I am going to try to keep it in order by color. I didn’t include everyone, just some of my favorite dresses.
Maria Menounos wore a beautiful sequined gown. I have to admit, this one may honestly be my favorite. It totally fits my style. Simple but classy.
Megan Fox is looking amazing post-baby in her Dolce & Gabbana lace sleveless gown.
Francesca Eastwood is this year’s Miss Golden Globes and she wore a beautiful lace gown and diamond jewelry.
Hayden Panettiere wore a Roberto Cavalli dress.
Julianne Hough looked amazing in a white tulle and gold embellishment dress by Monique Lhuillier. She also carried a Farragamo bag.
Kerry Washington wore a Miu Miu dress and Prada shoes.
Amy Adams wore Marchesa.
Amanda Seyfried donned a custom Givenchy dress.
Kristen Bell wore a Jenny Packham gown.
Red tones were the second most popular color of the evening.
Jennifer Lawrence wore a coral organza Dior Haute Couture gown with a structured bustier and a metal belt.
Zooey Deschanel looked amazing in a red silk tafetta Oscar de la Renta.
Claire Danes flaunted her post-baby body in a red Versace dress.
Another big trend I noticed were cleavage bearing plunging neck lines.
Amy Poehler (co-host) wore a woman’s suit with a plunging neck line upon arrival. She changed into a few other cleavage bearing outfits throughout the evening.
Jessica Chastain also wore a plunging neck line. I am actually not a big fan of this dress at all though.
And Katherine McPhee looked hot in a plunging black dress
I loved many of the dresses of the evening. I hope you enjoyed the selection I am bringing you to see.
I am a big fan of Laura Mercier Cosmetics. If I could say that one brand summarizes my style as a whole it would definitely be Laura Mercier. She has a philosophy on flawless skin that appeals to me so much. She believes that if your skin looks amazing then you will too. All that being said, Laura Mercier Cosmetics did the makeup for Pamella Roland’s NYFW Spring/Summer 2013 look. The brand typically does most of Pamella Roland’s runway looks, if not all of them. I love the look they put together for this show!

Matin describes the look as “a melange of 1960s glamour and Pamella Roland’s clean, geometric aesthetic that can be worn with ease by the modern woman.”
I don’t have the products mentioned or I would totally recreate it myself for you guys but I may do my own version of this very soon with things I do have from the brand.
Do you like to recreate looks based off of face charts like me? I don’t know why but face charts amaze me. I love to visualize the look on myself and eventually get carried away and recreate them. :) Let me know in the comments below!

NARS created the look for the Tanya Taylor runway show. Lead artist Uzo created a flawless face with a more natural brow. “[The look channels] Natalie Wood from the early 60s at the famous Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados,” said Uzo. “The skin is fair and flawless. Brows are lightly filled in to look somewhat messy but natural
Beauty in action. I love seeing pictures of makeup artists doing their thing! The level of professionalism displayed on their face is always inspiring.
Gorgeous Tanya Taylor designs. I love the fun spring patterns and colors!
Love a fresh faced look. You can tell by most of the looks that I post here, but something about looking as though you aren’t wearing much makeup –even when you are– just really gives off a chic appearance! It says “I am not afraid to look natural, but I still like a good beauty routine.” Tons of blush and eyeshadow is ok, but sometimes simple is better. K.I.S.S.=Keep It Simple Stupid!
