Big beauty waves are a must have for the summer months. I normally struggle to get the volume and depth of the wave that I am after but I have FINALLY achieved it and I felt like I had to share it with you. It is a really quick, really simple routine and I am so glad that I have found it.
We all know how much damage the summer does to our hair so I first start out by replenishing moisture and such back into it. The ION Miracle Summer Spray shields hair from damage, hydrates, detangles, and more. The hydrates and detangles part is the main reason I use this. I have been told several times over the last few years that my hair is seriously dehydrated so I do whatever I can to put that moisture back in. I also have long hair so tangles happens and using products that help detangle are a must.
In preparation for using hot tools I find it extremely important to use products that shield your hair from heat damage. The Beyond The Zone Turn Up The Heat spray is perfect and as a bonus IT SMELLS FANTASTIC! I spritz it all over my hair from roots to ends because I am not only blowing my hair dry but also using a waver hot tool.
As I mentioned in the last step, I am using heat to style my hair. I blow my hair 75% dry, I don’t like to fully have my hair blown dry because I find that letting it finish up drying naturally it retains some of its original body. I then take a deep waver and add in the beautiful waves.
To set the waves I spray Beyond The Zone Beach Head Tropical Texture spray in my roots all the way to my ends. It mostly adds texture, but if sprayed into the roots it adds a ton of volume.
The things that really make this style possible are the products. Sally Beauty has amazing hair products for any look you are going for and you won’t be disappointed. I also love that their products are so much more inexpensive than the ones you find in salons.
