I recently switched out my handbags and what that means for you is that you get to see the junk that I carry around day to day. Exciting, right? This isn’t everything that I pulled out of my other bag, this is just the essentials that I like to have with me at all times. I honestly feel that with these things I will be prepared for anything.
Maybe it is just me, but no matter if the sun is blazing or there is a white hazy cast on the sky my eyes are too sensitive to handle it. It isn’t something that is newly developed, I have actually been like this my whole life. My eyes are very sensitive to light. I always thought that was a weird fact about myself, but I cannot leave my house without sunglasses.
Blush, mascara, and lipgloss.
These 3 things are honestly my must haves in a makeup routine. If I don’t have a stitch of makeup on and find out I am about to do something important, these are the 3 things I use to pull myself together. Also, this Too Faced blush compact has a good size mirror and it is cute. I want a cute mirror when I am putting on my mascara or gloss. LOL
Hair pins and ties.
My hair has been short all year long and it is FINALLY long enough to put it up in a bun. Man did I miss being able to do that. Anyway, it has been rainy here a lot lately so when my hair frizzes up or is flat and boring I just throw it up in a top knot and these are the things I use to do so.
Pen and note pad.
Have you ever been out and about and a great idea hits you and if you don’t write it down you will forget forever? Yeah, that happens to me a lot. Also, I really find making lists therapeutic. Pen and paper is a must have for me. I do also carry around a planner that doubles as my wallet but I like to have a separate notebook for random little things like that.
The struggle is real, my friends. I have had two 10 lb children and my bladder has suffered because of it. If I laugh, sneeze, cough or even bend down I sometimes leak. UGH. So annoying. This was not what I had envisioned on my journey through my adult life, but it is the journey I have been given so I feel like I should just at least be prepared. These Poise Microliners are my favorite because they are so thin that I am not constantly reminded that I am wearing something but they also do a really good job.
I used to just use regular pads for this cruel trick of nature but when I tried these I was blown away by how perfect they were. These ones specifically are fairly long so they cover a large area, but they are thin so I don’t get that bulky feeling. ALSO, the fact that they are little means they don’t take up a lot of room in my handbag. WIN! Another win is that I picked these up on one of my many weekly trips to Walmart!
If this is something you are dealing with yourself then you should TOTALLY get Poise Microliners and use this coupon for $2 off!
So tell me in the comments below: what are some of the things you carry around in your bag that you can’t live without?
