I switch up my skincare routine pretty often and I wanted to share with you what I am currently using in my a.m. skincare routine. I have gotten pretty heavy into skincare lately and it is because my facial skin has been going through some weird changes lately. I moved from hot and sunny Florida to the gorgeous pacific northwest state of Washington and in turn my skin has gone crazy.

I have been oily my entire life up until this point and I am now experiencing dryness in patches, my skin is starting to get a rougher texture, my milia is acting up. I am just trying to play this day by day, but these products have been really great. Some of them you will notice I have mentioned before and some are new.
My favorite new cleanser is actually from Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser. It is a simple, effective cleanser designed to naturally wash away impurities and makeup residue (including eye makeup). Formulated with strawberry oil, an anti-oxidant and exfoliator known for delivering brighter, cleaner healthier skin. Ideal paired with any electronic cleansing brush. Which leads me right into my next thing…
I am a HUGE fan of the Foreo Luna. I think that it is absolutely fabulous and I don’t know how I did without it for so long. I have alway swanted to use electronic cleansing brushes but the nylon bristles (no matter how sensitive they said they were) were too much for my skin. This silicone vibrating cleansing tool is perfect: it only has to be charged once every 6 months, it never has to have a brush head changed, and its small and travels well.
Phace Bioactive Illuminating Serum is another new-to-me product but is quickly climbing the ranks in my skincare stash. It is a corrective + protective oil-free serum for firmer skin with a more youthful glow. Designed to diminish the appearance of age spots, sun spots and acne marks, strengthen the skin matrix and enhance protection against UVA/UVB photo-damage. Vitamin C works to brighten skin and diminishes wrinkles while Gallic Acid reduces hyper-pigmentation. To keep your skin looking flawless, Licorice Root and Mulberry Extract fade dark spots and Hyaluronic Acid revitalizes and plumps tissue for softer, smoother skin. Ideal for all skin types, including sensitive, eczema and rosacea-prone, dull and sun-damaged. I have only one complaint and that is that it dries down sort of tacky, but once I apply my moisturizer overtop the tackiness is gone.
The Glossier. Priming Moisturizer is such a great product. Immediately on application, this plumps skin up with moisture to create cushiony bounce and an even texture, which helps minimize the appearance of pores, minus any heavy blurring ingredients so it really helps out the textured skin problem I mentioned before. The anti-redness complex soothes and evens skin tone, leaving a clean, dewy, balanced finish. This comforting cream allows you to layer and build up to the perfect amount of moisture depending on climate, season, or how your skin’s feeling on any given day. I really love it.
The Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream is another favorite of mine. I have actually already reviewed it previously here on the blog, but I wanted you to know it is still a favorite. A little goes a long way.
Another Glossier. product that I love is the Balm Dotcom. I haven’t mentioned skin salves in a while but that doesn’t mean that I don’t still love them, I just hadn’t come across anything new worth noting until now. This one is a hydrating, long-lasting, do-everything skin salve that’s packed with antioxidants and natural emollients to nourish and repair dry, irritated skin. The dense, waxy texture stays in place to seal in moisture wherever it goes. It literally does everything from lip balm to calming sore skin during a cold. I have even applied it as a cuticle balm before.
I hope you enjoyed hearing about my a.m. skincare routine. Tell me in the comments below if you have tried any of these products and if you haven’t what piques your interest the most?
