TATCHA is a brand that I have been obsessed with for a couple years now. In the past I have reviewed their Cleansing Oil, Serum, Gold Collection, Water Collection, the Akari massager, and so much more. Every time they bring out something new I sort of go gaga for it. It isn’t because of the luxe packaging and attention to detail they bring, because trust… THEY DO BRING IT, it is more so because the products are truly fantastic. This is one line that I have always achieved GREAT improvements in my skin.
Formulated for sensitive skin, this anti-aging moisturizer is rich in Indigo extract, Colloidal Oatmeal and Sophora Japonica extract, which calm, comfort, and restore skin’s natural resiliency. Why it’s different: Tatcha’s soothing blend of botanicals calms sensitive, easily irritated skin and reverses the signs of premature aging. Formulated with 3% Colloidal Oatmeal (the highest percentage available in a product of this kind on the market), skin is left comforted, supple and replenished.
I have been experiencing dry, irritated skin for the first time in my life recently. It is making me more than a little crazy. I have always had an extremely oily t-zone with normal skin everywhere else but lately my forehead is as dry as the Sahara. It is the most peculiar thing I have experienced in my life. I think our skin drying up comes with age so the TATCHA Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream stepped into my life at the most opportune time.
Most days when I stay at home I don’t wear makeup so I have been really trying to load up on high quality skincare in an attempt to save my skin. I am not kidding when I say that my forehead is irritated. It has really been sore. This stuff has been a life saver. I usually cleanse my skin, apply my eye cream and slather this stuff onto my face. Don’t use a ton of it though because it is so rich that a little goes a long way. I was a little too generous the first time around and my face stayed sort of sticky, which I didn’t like. I used about a pea sized amount the second go round and it was perfect. Long story short, I do still have a dry forehead but this
TATCHA Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream was formulated for all skin types, especially sensitive skin showing signs of rosacea, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis or allergies. I don’t personally have any of those issues, but I can say from my small bout with a dry, irritated forehead that it really works and does a great job at soothing. You can get this at tatcha.com and QVC.
