My daughter is such a girly girl. When I was young I was a complete and total tom-boy so having this frilly little girl in my life after having a son sort of baffles me. I just assumed all kinds want to go play in the dirt and catch lizards, but not Rae. She wants to play with shoes and handbags and teacups. Don’t get me wrong, I am all about those things now so I am completely down for whatever. It just baffles me that she can be two years old and be so much like “adult me” already. That being said I indulge her in playing tea party and change her shoes for every occaision because I think it is insanely fun. We had a tea party yesterday and I made sure to have a few things that are her favorite.
She actually really does love tea, ice cold sweet tea. Warm tea is something different for her but I added a little cream to it and she loved it. I also made sure that one of the spotlights of our little tea party was something else that she absolutely loves and that was cheese. The cheeses that Londoner offers are all so good. They are dense, creamy and packed with flavor. I personally feel that these cheeses give our tea parties that touch of authenticity that adds the magic.
For this particular tea party I cut up the Red Leicester. It proved to be a fantastic choice because before I had even pulled out crackers and scones Raegan was already reaching for it. And that is the truth. I baked a batch of scones for this particular tea party and they didn’t even get eaten. Then ended up being eaten with our dinner and breakfast the next morning.
Definitely check out Londoner Cheese for yourself at LondonerUSA.com! Here in WA you can find then at Haggen’s and Safeway!
