The very first product I ever tried from NARS Cosmetics is the Laguna Bronzer. They just released the Tahiti Laguna Bronzing Powder as part of their Last Resort Collection. The entire collection consists of the Tahiti Laguna Bronzing Powder that contains a mini Ita brush, four Tahiti-inspired temporary tattoo sheets and the beloved Body Glow and Monoï Body Glow II.
Tahiti Bronzer in iconic shade Laguna creates the ultimate healthy glow. Diffused powders with golden shimmer deliver natural-looking warmth perfect for creating or enhancing the look of tanned skin. Finely milled powders fills in lines and pores for smoother, more even looking complexion. Features NARS signature mini Ita Kabuki Brush for the ultimate on-the-go glow.
The Kabuki Ita Brush is the ultimate tool for creating a soft, subtle bronzed look. The loose hair picks up less product than a brush with denser, short bristles, which lends a softer, more diffused application.
The compact is much larger than the traditional bronzer packaging. This packaging contains a huge, fantastic mirror. I love having products with large mirrors even though I don’t use them for travel. I like being able to use a larger mirror to get a close up look at my eyes when I am doing mascara. I know that isn’t really bronzer related, but I am sure I am not the only one. The amount of product is different too. A regular size Laguna is .28 oz of product where the Tahiti Bronzer contains .35 oz of product. Not a huge difference but nice to get a little more for sure.
The NARS Ita brush is fantastic for chiseling out a cheekbone where they are non existent otherwise. The striking silhouette of the Kabuki Ita is designed to create targeted contouring and strong, sculpted cheeks. It features natural bristles made of pen superg, and its soft-to-the-touch handle offers a comfortable grip and a sleek, modern look. This one, of course, is the mini, but I think it is a fantastic quality all the same.
Overall I am sad that this will be a limited edition product because I think that the value of getting this large bronzer and brush together are fantastic. So definitely get your hands on it while you can. This palette is available at narscosmetics.com, Nordstrom, Barney’s, Saks, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, and Lord & Taylor!
