Eddie Funkhouser is actually a brand that I have come to love over the last year or so. I love their liquid liner and eyeshadow quads, you can check that post out here. The thing I like about the brand is thatit is found at the drugstore (so it is inexpensive) and the quality is mid to high end. Today I want to show you the Eddie Funkhouser pink lippies that I own, plus a couple others.
It is spring time and I don’t know about you but that is when my brighter, pinker shades tend to come out of the woodwork. I stick to very neutral shades most of the year, but I sneak in a pink or two here and there come spring. The selection of lippies I have for you today are going to be suitable for just about anyone.
I have two lipsticks and three lip glosses. The lipsticks are named Strip Search and Rumor. The glosses are named Broadway Babe, Girl Gone Bad, and Belle Du Jour. Each of these has it’s own unique texture and finish, so it is impossible to say they are all one thing or another.
I KNOW you wanted to see the swatches, so here goes…
L to R: Belle Du Jour | Girl Gone Bad | Broadway Babe | Strip Search | Rumor
Belle Du Jour is a sheer creme lipgloss.
Girl Gone Bad is a thick nude pink cream shade.
Broadway Babe is a clear shimmery lip gloss that has gold and silver sparkles. Sometimes I think I see a tiny but of blue tint on the silver sparkles.
Strip Search looks like it is this crazy intense lipstick but in reality it is more sheer and can be built up to be quite opaque.
Rumor is a ridiculously pigmented berry shade that just doesn’t quit. I swatched it for this picture and it was only on my arm long enough to take the picture and when I tried to remove it it was there. So this one is the shade that you apply in the morning and will still be there when you are ready to go to bed! LOL
I LOVE the Eddie Funkhouser Pink Lippies I have tried. The nudes are pretty great as well, which you can see in the post I linked in the first paragraph. You can find Eddie Funkhouser products on the brand’s website. Check out some other shades that my fellow ladies in Makeup Wars are showing off!
