Renewing my commitment to improving my skin is definitely a goal of mine for 2015. Caring for your skin is so important; your skin is actually the largest organ on your body and you only get one shot at keeping it protected and healthy. Everyone knows and loves the original philosophy hope in a jar and I am happy to introduce to you the renewed hope in a jar! The saying on the front of the jar is pretty much my mantra for the year: “Live with optimism. Renew with hope.” Those 6 little words are so profound. It seems like a simple idea but if you really follow through with that attitude you are sure to have a fantastic year. I know that I can let myself get caught up with the negative things in life: all the things I don’t have, someone else getting an unfair advantage, jealousy in general… By using the philosophy renewed hope in a jar I am not only looking to step up my skin care game, but also change the way I think about life. So let me tell you some of the ingredients of this fantastic moisturizer. First of all—it has a blend of AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids), which are tiny molecules that help to gently whisk away dead skin cells that cause your skin to look dull and rough. The AHAs in this moisturizer are all different sizes, which allow it to work on multiple levels. Second—it contains 3 separate forms of hyaluronate! And third—it has an Asian fruit extract that gives you a natural healthy color. Now let me speak to the skin benefits, my favorite part! This gives your skin a refined texture and visibly smaller pores. It helps to minimize fine lines. You can expect to see soft, dewy skin. Your skin with feel comfortable with all day hydration. And your skin will be re-energized with a healthy color and you will be GLOWING! The instant I apply this onto my face and down my neck I feel refreshed and hydrated. My sense of smell gets a treat too because of the light and lovely scent. On top of all the good things that philosophy does for your skin, they are also philanthropic! Through the philosophy hope & grace initiative, 1% of all philosophy product sales supports community-based mental health efforts. Any product, anywhere! Something they said struck a chord with me, “Whether we know it or not, we all know one—1 friend, 1 niece, 1 daughter, 1 sister,1 aunt, 1 mother, 1 grandmother—who may be among the 1 in every 4 women struggling with a mental health issue.” You never know what is happening in the personal life of others and mental illness is so real, but invisible. It hurts just as much as something physical and I love that philosophy is doing something to help those that need it! Investing in my skin care routine is definitely one of the smartest things I started doing a couple years ago. I get told all the time that I don’t look like I am in my 30s and I thank myself for starting being good to my skin before I started seeing a ton of issues. I urge you to try philosophy renewed hope in a jar, your skin will thank you for it! Follow philosophy on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!
