I recently reviewed the Baked Blushes from Milani Cosmetics and I now have the brand new Baked Bronzers in 07 Sienna and 08 Sunset. These two specific shades are limited edition and completely matte! The fact that they are matte is very exciting because it is quite difficult to get your hands on a drugstore bronzer that is completely matte AND there are two different shades. These Baked Bronzers are one of the most exciting releases of the season for me. They are true to color, very pigmented, great texture, and blend effortlessly.
“A bronzing powder that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracota tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous, enhancing the purity of the skin. This hi-tech, streak free bronzer, gives a perfect radiant look.” – Milani Cosmetics
Sienna is described as a medium tan. I find it to have underlying red tones that may make it turn orange on cooler/paler skin tones. Personally this is the one that I would use as a contour because even though it is darker it blends really well.
Sunset is described as a light golden tan. This is the one I will be using most all summer to give me that warm summer glow. It will add the perfect amount of color to give me that gorgeous bronzed look.
If you haven’t gotten your hands on these limited edition Matte Baked Bronzers yet, definitely do before they are long gone. These have amazing texture, pigmentation and are completely matte. It is like the unicorn of summer beauty releases. And guess what? They are only retailing for $8.99! The entire line of bronzers are actually really nice too. Next time you get the chance, take a look at the Milani Cosmetics Baked Bronzers. I find mine at Walgreens and CVS.
