I have been testing out a line of skincare products for myself, but the same line actually makes baby products so Raegan (my daughter) has been testing these products out. Baby Sebamed is a line of perfectly pH balanced baby products. All products in the Sebamed range contain high-quality active ingredients which cleanse and nourish the skin without destroying the natural acid protection mantle. pH balance isn’t really talked about that often but after using these products I feel like it definitely should be! Today I am sharing with you the Children’s Shampoo, Baby Bubble Bath, Baby Cream Extra Soft, Baby Lotion and the Cleansing Bar.
“Ideal for cleansing and care the fine hair and delicate scalp of babies and children, minimizing the risk of dryness or irritation.”
So, my daughter was a serious cradle cap sufferer. It drove me crazy. She has a TON of hair and that made it nearly impossible to get all of the dry stuff off. I tried several different shampoos (when I say several, I mean ALL of them) and nothing really corrected it. This shampoo doesn’t claim to do anything for cradle cap but I it does promote a healthy scalp and doesn’t use heavy chemicals that can dry out or irritate the scalp even further. After using this for a while I stopped noticing the flaky-reptile-like-scales beneath her hair AND her hair started growing a little more rapidly and it was so fluffy!
“Soap-free formulation with the pH value of 5.5 supports the development of the baby′s acid mantle and the moisture balance in the skin.”
Bath time should be fun. My daughter has really started appreciating the awesomeness of a good bubble. It was so sweet when she noticed that suds were sort of squishy and her smile was everything. This bubble bath from Baby Sebamed is such a terrific treat.
“Excellent protection of the skin against cold weather, prevention of nappy rash and stimulation of the healing process.”
Ok… so my daughter has suffered from serious diaper rashes for far too long. I would send her to daycare on Monday and her bum looked perfect, but day after day a rash would start and then explode by Friday. By Saturday I had it under control again and then the cycle would start over. I sent all sorts of diaper creams to daycare with her and I do like the ladies that kept her but it was wearing me down having to worry about it. I started using this as a barrier cream and I noticed that the rash wouldn’t start as fast and it was easier to correct. A few weeks ago I decided to be a Stay-At-Home-Mom and I am so much happier because of that, and so is Rae’s bum! <3
This Baby SebaMed Baby Lotion is divine. It has a thinner consistency that sinks into my baby’s skin and leaves her feeling silky. I can tell that her skin is nourished and it smells fantastic. It does have Allantoin as one of it’s ingredients which is known for envoking supple skin!
“100% soap-free, mild body cleansing of the delicate baby skin, making it smooth and soft, minimizing the risk of dryness or irritation.”
I would have NEVER thought to use a bar soap on my daughter but when all of the other products worked so well I broke it out. I love it. I wish I could let Rae hold it but she would just eat it and even though I am sure it is gentle enough, just no! It cleanses really well and I would recommend it for anyone!
One afternoon after Raegan’s bath she was playing with these gorgeous products and I had to run and grab my camera because it was just too cute. Please don’t look at the mess in the background though! <3
