Tarte Cosmetics Volumizing Brow Powder

Tarte Cosmetics has sure come out with a lot of new products for Summer 2014, haven’t they?  The latest product on the market for your brows is the Volumizing Brow Powder.  You know me, I am a sucker for a new brow product.  And this one is especially interesting to me.  They come in four shades and I have the Blonde and Grey to show you.  The other two shades are Medium Brown and Rich Brown.

“The secret weapon of girls with great brows, tarte’s revolutionary volumizing brow and hair powder creates a naturally defined arch while seamlessly filling in sparse areas on the brows and scalp.” – Tarte Cosmetics

These powders fill in your brows to make them appear naturally full and beautiful.  It  is made with the Amazonian Clay that Tarte is famous for, which does help keep the oilies away while also locking in the pigment!  It is an ultra-finely blended powder that doesnt get powdery or chalky at all.  It is very rich and silky formula.

Another REALLY cool thing about this powder is that it can also be used on your hairline to camouflage roots or thinning hair.  What a fabulous idea, right?

The best brush to use with this is the Frame Worker Double-Ended Bamboo Brow Powder Brush.  One end has an angled brush that is perfect for the brows and the other side is a flat top/slanted brush that is great for blending the powder on the brows as well as getting the powder onto the hair line.

I’m enjoying getting into brow products. Why on earth would they send you grey? Have they seen you? LOL.

  • Cosmetic Sanctuary

I need a new brow powder and I generally love Tarte products, so I’ll look for these!

  • erikatheicyone

These look pretty good. The blonde looks a bit warm for me, tho. I prefer very cool, ashy brow products that match what brow hairs I do have.

  • Sania Akbar

I am always a fan of tarte cosmetics !

  • FabZilla_Kath

Anastasia dipbrow is still my go-to. This sounds interesting ‘tho

This looks like something fun to check out :)

I have several brow favorites, my absolute fav is Senna Cosmetics, the brush and powders are amazing with the best non chalky/ grainy finish. For drugstore, my favorite is NYX brow kit. And liquid is Makeup Forever’s for brow doesn’t budge. I like those powders from Tarte, IMO for brows an angled brush and a clean mascara wand to clean after is all you need.

Sounds good. So far my fav brow products are those kits where there is gel and powder (like e.l.f Eyebrow Kit).

This sounds interesting. Not sure I would ever stray from Dipbrow though lol

OOohhh this sounds great. I have tried the Tarte Brow Mousse but once I got the Anastasia BH Dipbrow, I am obsessed with it. Great post!

  • GlitteryGlossy

They are too light for my taste but that brush looks fantastic!

  • Katrina

This seems like the easiest way to create fuller brows. Pencil tend to look to dark for me, so the subtle look the creates is perfect for me!

I’m definitely curious as to how these look in the brows. I’ve been obsessed with tarte brow products because they work really well for me.

I would have loved to show you but unfortunately these shades don’t match me at all so it wouldn’t have been a good representation.

  • Anastasia

I always prefer to use powders instead of pencils, because they look a lot more natural. The only exception from this rule is Benefit Gimme Brow, which currently my daily staple.

  • Noelle

I really need to get my brows on track. This seems perfect!

  • Aleya Bamdad

My brows are definitely thinning out. I don’t like pencils so maybe this would work.

Well this is cool – I would definitely try it out.

This looks awesome! I definitely need to check out the medium brown shade.

I really love using pencils. My two faves are MAC’s Lingering and I love all of Anastasia’s Brow Wiz! I think this is an interesting product. I might have to check this out.

  • Ange

This looks like it may actually be pretty interesting to try out! Tarte is really stepping up their game!

I love all brow products but I do find powder fills in my brows the best. I will take a closer look at these when I see them in person.

  • Allison @neversaydiebeauty

I am going to check out the blonde one next time I’m at Ulta or Sephora. It’s hard to find the right shade for my red hair/eyebrows but the blonde may work

I’ve never thought of using gray to fill in my brows, but I bet it would look so much more natural than brownish black!

  • Kelly R

Oh, these look great! I love Tarte!

  • http://www.cosmetically-challenged.com Melody Robinson Wright

I like pencils and a good gel brow filler. Powders not so much.

  • Betzy Carmona

They are both very pigmented !

You know, I sort of thought the brow powder would be “furry” or something like that so it’d actually add hairs or volume to the existing brow hairs. The grey looks nice!

  • myCosmeticBag

i’m using cailyn cosmetic’s gelux eyebrow

  • cindyprimebeauty

Brow powders look so much more natural.

  • veronicalee

I’ve never tried using brow powder. Gotta check this out. Thanks!
