Recently Neutrogena engaged me in their Neutrogena Face Off Challenge. The challenge is simple: use the makeup remover wipes to remove all traces of makeup, pat your face dry with the super white towel to make sure there was no makeup residue leftover, and show a before and after picture. I took the challenge, so let’s see what happened!
I am a huge advocate on cleaning my face before bed but I am a really lazy girl late at night too. I use makeup wipes when I feel that a full face routine isn’t in the stars but I am usually reluctant because I always thought that maybe I was compromising and not doing what it should as far as removing makeup and cleansing the skin. This challenge really opened up my eyes. I used one towelette to clean my entire face and another to get my eye makeup off. I patted my face with the towel and NOTHING was on it. I was really surprised and elated. I mean… I was wearing a ton of makeup, just look at those wipes!
The only thing I didn’t remove with a makeup remover wipe was my mascara. The mascara I was using in this picture just happened to be a waterproof one and instead of having the possibility of ripping out lashes I just went ahead and removed the makeup on the lids and under the eye. You can tell I have no makeup on in the second picture due to all the redness and uneven skin tone… and those brows… YIKES!
I actually did this challenge Saturday afternoon while my husband was grilling some burgers. I didnt even use a mirror, just me, the wipes and towel, and my trusty camera! I am thrilled with the results! Now I want YOU to take the Neutrogena Face Off Challenge! Once you do it use the hash tag #NeutrogenaFaceOff and tag me in it (@LauraJean396)! I may just have a surprize for someone that gets engaged with me!!! *hint, hint* ;)
