Admit it: you make a mess when applying mascara, drawing on winged liner, and sweeping on eyeshadow too! I know I do and I think I have finally found the solution! OllieGirl’s The Makeup Guard Card helps you create your eye looks cleaner and faster with a more perfect end result!
The Makeup Guard Card by OllieGirl is a versatile, do-it-all tool. You can guard your lid from smudges during mascara application, edge up the perfect winged liner, stop fallout from glittery eyeshadows, prevent over-extending your eyeshadow, etc. That is only for the eyes themselves, You can also use this tool for precise brow lines, concealer around the brows, applying perfect lip liner and any other lip product really. I could keep going on and on but I think you get my point! ;)
The Makeup Guard Card is sturdy, reusable, latex free, and made of a TPE Styrene Blend that is completely recyclable. The cards measure 2″ x 4″ in a trapezoidal shape with rounded, no sharp edges and measurement markings for measuring your exact eyeliner extensions or whatever else you would need them for.
One thing I do DAILY is goof up my mascara. I always manage to get flecks and smudges all over my lid. I have used an old business card in the past to help me with this, but they get icky and thrown away; eventually I run out of old business cards. This card is the perfect replacement. It does the same job but you can clean it and keep using it over and over. Just by lining up the edge with the base of the lashes you can prevent the smudging by protecting the lid from being hit by the brush. This also helps with mascara application in other ways…
I want to get the most out of my mascara and by that I want them to be longer, fuller, darker, and NOT clumpy. The best way to get that effect is to work the brush through your lashes from the base all the way to the tip. Most mascara wands aren’t going to sink into the lashes all by themselves, you have to work it into them (which usually creates the mess I was talking about in the last paragraph). When you place the card at the base of the lashes you can use as much pressure you want with the wand and get the bristles all the way to the root of the lash; from there you want to keep the same pressure and brush up and through the tip of the lash. This motion allows you to coat the lash completely while brushing off the excess. Going from the very root of the lash all the way through the ends will give you the appearance of longer fuller lashes.
Excuse the lack of other makeup and tired, red eyes but I wanted you to get the full effect of how much this card helped ONE COAT of mascara transform my eyelashes. I am a 2-3 coat type of gal but when you can get these kinds of results from one coat I consider it a victory. The best part? The mess winds up on the card, not your face! It is easy to clean right off and it is as good as new!
The Makeup Guard Card by Ollie Girl comes with 2 cards, pink and green, and retails for $8.95. It saves me time and stress by taking care of my mess. I can get a precision liner look even when I have coffee-induced shaky hands, smudge-free lids, and quicker eyeshadow application all by using this ONE tool. Sounds like a lifesaver, right? Perfect for the makeup novice to the overly-addicted (like myself) alike.
