Make Up For Ever is one of my favorite brands. The first thing I ever tried from them was the HD loose finishing powder. It always looked great but not always the easiest to use. I don’t PERSONALLY enjoy loose powders as much as pressed ones because of the mess it creates and the fact that it isn’t travel friendly. Make Up For Ever just released a couple of new items in the HD line, a Pressed Powder and Cream Blush.
The HD Pressed Powder ($36) is essentially a pressed version of the loose powder. It is perfect in every way. The pressed powder sets your makeup and slightly mattifies your skin for a naturally luminous finish without adding any color, exactly what I am looking for in a powder. I have been on the hunt for something to mattify my oily area without looking caky for months now.
“A real technical and sensory feat, this innovative formula delicately balances a blend of three high-tech ingredients: synthetic mica, silicone powders, and silica even out the skin tone with an invisible result. The unique combination of ingredients, thanks to its soft focus effect, instantly fades away the appearance of fine lines and imperfections.” – Make Up For Ever
This powder is talc fee, lightweight, and contains hyaluronic acid to keep the skin hydrated during wear. It blurs out imperfections so it is perfect to camouflage my fine lines and larger pores.
This item is ONLY available at Sephora and Sephora.com.
The shades I have to show you are 210, 220, and 410.
210 has another name “Cool Pink”, 220 is “Pink Sand” and 410 is “Coral”. If you were to ask me to choose which shade is my favorite I couldn’t. They are each great for different things. 210 and 410 would be my “down for something fun” shade and 220 would be the workhorse shade–my everyday!
These are heavy swatches in this photo but they truly blend out to be beautiful flushes on the cheek. Great blushes for any skin tone! These blushes are also exclusively available at Sephora only!
If you haven’t ever tried Make Up For Ever I highly recommend the brand as a whole. I love the Mat Velvet+ foundation and several other items, but I think that these blushes and the pressed powder just topped off my list of best products from the brand!
