Review: Sally Hansen Lip Primer
Sometimes in the colder months I notice that my lips can chap and appear flaky after applying lip products. I also notice that the color I apply doesn't last as long as it should on my less than perfectly moisturized lips. If you suffer from the same things I have good news! Sally Hansen came up with a product that will help you in your struggles, and it is called the Plumping Lip Primer.
The Plumping Lip Primer looks a lot like a chapstick due to it's twist up tube, but it is far more complex than that! It is an invisible primer that plumps the lips, smooths out lines, as well as keeps your lipstick or gloss lasting longer.

Urban Decay Oz The Great and Powerful: Glinda and Theodora
Have you seen these great new Urban Decay palettes? Oz The Great and Powerful is a Disney movie coming out very soon and Urban Decay is asking, "Which witch are you?" There is a Glinda and Theodora palette.
The color palettes for the two witches are very interesting and very specific. Theodora is played by Mila Kunis in the movie, where Glinda is played by Michelle Williams. You can see how the palettes compliment them very well.

Sunday Extra: Pink Peacock iPhone Case
A few days ago I was craving a blingy new iPhone case. There was an accessory sale at my local Dillard's so I took advantage. This one called my name. It was pink, blingy-licious, and had a gorgeous peacock on it.
This case was originally $60 or something crazy like that (and I would never pay that much) but it was marked down to a little over $20 which is my standard price for a cover. Turns out it isn't only pretty, but also very functional. I find that the peacock actually added a decent amount of grip to the phone itself.
I don't know if all stores will carry these, nor do I remember what the brand was... If you have a Dillard's nearby then get in there and see what there is left. The display was extremely picked over by the time I got to it!
What have you done lately to beautify your phone?

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colors: Orchid and Sugar Frost
Eyes are a focus this season and I want to share with swatches of the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colors in Orchid and Sugar Frost.
"Inspired by Laura Mercier's cult classic Caviar Eye Liner, Caviar Stick Eye Colour offers a new technique to enhance the smoky eye look. In a range of eight beautiful shades, this creamy formula provides endless options for a flawless smoky eye. Each convenient stick is long-wearing, transfer- and crease-resistant. The colour glides onto lids and blends easily with a rich colour payoff."

Laura Mercier Creme Eye Liner: Indigo and Espresso
I am an eyeliner fanatic. I can't tell you how many liners I actually have in my stash... Most are probably unopened back ups. It is the one thing that I always feel the need to have more and more of... I recently discovered the Laura Mercier Creme Eye Liners and I have the shades Indigo and Espresso to show!
"An ultra-smooth, water-proof creamy eye liner that applies with the ease and smooth silky finish of a gel and the precision of a liquid liner. Smudge and transfer-resistant, this long-wearing formula goes on “foolproof” with the Laura Mercier Angled Eye Liner Brush."

Top 12 of 2012
The "Top 12 of 2012" tag has been going around... or maybe I should say that it already went around but I never got around to it UNTIL NOW! This tag is rounding up my favorite beauty products of 2012. I knew what I wanted to have in my top favorites, I just never had the time to sit and post them. I am currently watching Once Upon a Time while veg-ing out on my bed so I decided to snap pics where I sit.
I am not grouping these favorites in any particular order, but I am clustering them together with similar products. First up are actual makeup items.

Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream Dupe: Urban Outfitters Sea Dust
I am a huge fan of many Deborah Lippmann polishes, but I often wont spring for them. They are highly duplicated by many more affordable brands so I like to sit back and collect those. I was strolling through Urban Outfitters a few weeks back and I sifted through the nail polish bins as I always do. Most of the time I don't find anything interesting or unique, but this go round I found a nail polish called Sea Dust which is the DL dupe for Mermaid's Dream.

Dresses of the Golden Globes 2013
I noticed when I was watching the Red Carpet arrivals there were lots of nude colored dresses and they all really were my favorites. I am not going to go in any particular order of favoritism but I am going to try to keep it in order by color. I didn't include everyone, just some of my favorite dresses.
Maria Menounos wore a beautiful sequined gown. I have to admit, this one may honestly be my favorite. It totally fits my style. Simple but classy.

L'Oreal Colour Caresse Gloss Stain
Lip products aren't usually the items I hoard, but recently there have been so many absolutely great high end dupes FLOODING the drugstores. I am not a fan of spending a ton of money on high end lip products so when there are dupes I will almost always spring for them. L'Oreal Colour Caresse Gloss Stains are said to be dupes for the YSL Glossy Stains. I have none of the YSLs but I am loving the L'Oreal glosses.

The makeup I did today was my typical "office makeup". I was getting ready for work this morning and decided to film myself doing it. Very simple to do, nothing tricky about it. Hope you like it!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores and Heavenly Luxe Powder Brush Review
2013 Beauty Resolutions
Last month I got a little behind in my blogging due to the photo challenge I put together. This month I want to incorporate my photo challenge on my blog. Hopefully you will enjoy that since there will be a little something extra everyday. And hopefully that will lead me to actually follow through with my challenge. :)
My resolutions for 2013 are really simple.
1.) Drinking more water has a lot of benefits. I am actually a person that loves water but I also love teas and lemonades, etc... I am going to make a conscious effort to actually drink lots of water everyday.
2.) Treat my skin regularly. That is a quite broad statement but I meant it that way. I want to thoroughly cleanse my skin twice a day, do moisturizing treatments, incorporate a special night cream, treat my oily skin, etc... I want to actually make my skin a priority in 2013.
3.) Wear more color. You all know I am a neutrals girl. I want to really throw caution to the wind and wear color on my face! Not just lips. I have some ideas and my job at Bare Minerals will help encourage this resolution.
4.) Make more videos!!! I know most of you are happy to hear that one. I get terribly busy and don't have a lot of time to film but I want filming videos to become a priority as well this year. My husband gave me a MacBook Pro for Christmas and I asked for it because I enjoy using iMovie. My recent videos have lacked in quality due to filming on my phone. I have been filming on my phone BECAUSE of the ease of editing with iMovie on it. I am going to do more! I promise!
Happy New Year, my loves!!! Tell me your beauty related resolutions in the comments below. I am very interested!
January Beauty Photo A Day Challenge
Last month I started a Photo A Day challenge that is beauty related on Instagram. It was fairly successful so I decided to do it again this month. For any of you that are Instagram Users, I would love it you took part in it. Some of it is sharing what you love and other days it will be discovering something new and creative about yourself. Either way, it is beautiful!
Here is the day by day guide. Let me know if you have any questions.
